PlayStation Access Controller: Setup

Best demo yet on how to set the access controller up. I’ve just ordered two of them and can’t wait to try them out . I have cerebral palsy and only have use of my left hand . I haven’t gamed for many ..many years, since controllers added way too many buttons, that I could no longer use them, so I’m really hoping, these controllers can help me out

Hey I'm thinking about getting 1 but I have a question can you assign a button where you don't have to repeatedly press the button like a shooting game ?

You can only do the toggle feature that will allow you to replace holding a button with a single press (which should work for shooting too). It will not work unfortunately for repeat presses though.

How do I set my right analog toggle to rotate in circle ?

What games are compatible? I have no movement in my fingers but can move my arm and wrist with that being said I would love to start trying some different games ASAP I would really like to be able to video game with my two children

You can play any PS5 game. However, it would work best for playing single joystick games with less controls such as racing games or sports games like FIFA. Using 2 side-by-side could allow for playing first person shooter games, though it will still be difficult to access all the controls quick enough to play those types of games with this controller.

You should be able to play with 1 for those games, but games requiring 2 joysticks would be difficult just using 1.

Nice run through for the setups. I think the set up of this is probably it's strength (better than the hardware itself which is limiting for some people). I see you are using 2 Access Controllers side by side to get look and move. Did you know you can use an external joystick as well ? There are 2 ways - get a joystick which plugs into the E1-E4 . There are a couple of guys in the UK that make some custom joysticks which work with PS5 - CelticMagic and OneSwitchUK. The other way is to use a super cool open source hardware option called HID Remapper made by this guy kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6W7lYONg5uBeNk I think both Sony and Microsoft have expressed concerns about the use of devices like Titan 2 and Chronus Zen due to the potential for those to be used for cheat in onlinbe game; but because the solution I just mentioned are wired and basically just level the playing field for more disabled gamers they should hopefully keep working.

But what if i need both joysticks to play the game but i only have pne hand. So I gues its really not for disabled people

The Azeron Cyro is a better controller for someone gaming with one hand only. This controller can be used for one handed gaming but that is not what it was specifically made for.
