Eh. This is normal though. When things are an obvious win, and if a company does not replicate it in some way they will be left behind, then they have no choice really. I mean, d-pads, joysticks and the like were on arcade games and the atari too... you need something to control with. And motion paddles and rumble packs are the obvious next step you are foolish not to copy if you want to keep up. I am sure there are things Nintendo has copied as well if you dig deep enough. I am a fan of both and either would be stupid not to follow if some development was the obvious next technological step. If x-box came out with some ground-breaking and suddenly necessary technology I would expect both Nintendo and Sony to both follow up with their own version.

Ratchet and Clank is a clear rip off of Zelda and the Minish cap, Crash Bandicoot is another generic copy of Mario, and PlayStation all-stars is the icing on the cake for a doppelgänger to Smash bros
