The combat parts, move sets, animations, and skins are pretty great. But the rest of the game sucks. I still play it a lot but for the social nonsense parts I button mash passed it. Always pick the “good” response even though I’ve not read any dialogue. Really the parts I between combat make me not want to play….but once I get back to combat I’m glad I still play.

@PeopleRTheProblem I can agree with you on this part. Some of the dialogue feels stilted. A few of the characters were great to talk to but there were a few characters that I loved their fighting style but I'd want to chuck them off a bridge each time I talked to them, I'm looking at you Nico. Lol

@dantederi5062 I liked the dlc. Storm and Deadpool were great additions, and Morbius may have been, but I barely touched him. My friend, on the other hand, loved his abilities. If you aren't looking forward to the dlc character... maybe not get it. But I'd try out the game first or at least the first few hours to see how you like playing it, and then if you do, then the dlc would be a great addition.

Midnight Suns is such a fantastic underrated game. I’m an xcom fan but usually hate deck building games, this had the perfect balance where fans of both genre would be pleased. 100% recommend!

Don't expect midnight suns to feel like xcom, it's a great game but it's definitely it's own thing so if you know that going in you'll enjoy it more. I've got way to much time logged on both of those games 😂 check out the guide videos from channel5 gaming on how to build the characters and it will change everything for you, it did for me at least

I played midnight suns discounted in January and regretted not buying it on release in full because it honestly deserves it. I was reluctant because of the turn based format but i sucked it up and had an absolute blast. It didnt do well commercially so they didn't announce a sequel, i hope it gets recognised enough now because i NEED a sequel after the ending
