The reason why this is kinda cool is when you have kids who want to play ps5 while the mrs wants the tv to watch a movie. It’s a fairly niche use case but I think the kids will like it.

If they put as much effort into selling games as they did trying to boost PSN numbers, they’d be the clear winner of this console generation instead of just adding to the problems we already have with pointless exclusivity and artificial region limits

@ based on my observation , for some reason between 2020 to 2024 the gaming industry is on participating in a race to reach the bottom . And i have a stinking suspicion private equity taking over most of game studios, to turn it into a cash cow business. But Sony and Microsoft shouldnt have to follow the private equity strategy. They should be prioritising system sellers strategy 🤦‍♂️

Hey, which gaming router do you recommend in 2024?

I don’t ever recommend a “gaming” router. Cause you end up paying more for the gaming label and that’s it. I recommend the TP Link AXE 5400 for a single router and the Eero 6 mesh system for multi point WiFi. Hope that helps 😁

I know. I tried to make sure that I specified who I was talking about and that Playstation users and the hardcore crazies are very different. But I do mean what I day about the portal. I'm happy for the people who like it and have a use for it, but I just don't get it and have never had a good experience with it. Like I said in the video though, it's always awesome to have a product that gets more useful features the longer you use it.

Never said they’d struggle. But their position in the market has lead to them making decisions that make no sense or that are very anti-consumer. And no company can keep that behavior up forever

PS fanboys typical behavior: throwing a massive fit when PlayStation exclusives (i.e. Horizon, God of War, etc.), creating an uproar when anyone dares to disagree with their practices (requiring PSN accounts for PC ports, etc.), etc. Basically their logic is: how dare people possess and express opinions on PlayStation that we don't like? I've been a proud PlayStation user since the PS2 era and I don't care if my disagreements with Sony's recent practices upsets the hardcore fanboys.

If you knew the number of trolls I have ignored in the years that I’ve been here, you’d be amazed. I only engage with the PlayStation fanboys because they make an active effort to abuse creators who don’t bend a knee to the mighty Sony. I also dont see myself going the way of RTU because I’m not a pathological liar who gets high on live stream and has a compulsion to address every troll who breathes in my general direction. I just want to make tech videos. I just feel like I need to preempt my Sony content because those are the only ones that result in me being harassed whether I address the toxic fans or not. That way the fanboys who do harass me are basically proving me right.
