PCVR Triple-A games have basically come to a standstill since Half Life Alyx and Lone Echo 2 were released a few years ago, Triple-A games are not really being made or even planned to be made, and Meta are the same they stopped developing for PCVR after their Lone Echo 2 was released, Meta seem content to keep moving VR sideways with its smartphone chip VR games that many people are growing weary of, VR needs a VR system that is capable of high end PCVR quality visuals that costs a fraction of its price, and then it needs to be able to not just excite VR gamers but also VR game developers, if the PSVR2 can do all of that then it may breathe new life into VR gaming.

Where do you live? Both combined are around $1,800?? I’m in the US and the ps5 is 500 dollars and the VR is 550. Confused. Unless your currency is different wherever you are

Thanks for this great review! :) I loved the first headset but it had too many limitations and really few full games. Spent so much time on GT sport VR but I could spend thousands hours on GT7 😝 Pre-ordered mine last month and really can't wait!

I am also living in NZ and have the PSVR2 pre ordered along with the controller charging station, I'm disappointed that you can't buy a physical copy of Horizon Call Of The Mountain though, but I'm super hyped! Can't wait to play Gran Turismo 7 in VR combined with my Logitech G923 Wheel and Pedals! Resident Evil Village should also be pretty Awesome!

What’s cinematic mode like? Is there a virtual theater look or a void? Also how are god rays?

Just a void. But the image seems clear and great with HDR and 12hz.

Question on the IPD range, can you get a tape measure and measure the max distance between the centre of the lense frames? Not knowing what the max IPD setting, is a deal breaker for me. I have a large IPD, 75mm, and I need it to be over 70mm. I have a Pimax 8KX which goes to 70mm manual, and has extra with software and large sweet spots in the lenses. I can't use Quest, Reverb G2, or Vive Pro 2, there IPD settings are too small. I find it frustrating that they don't make headsets with a large IPD range, the old Vive and Vive Pro went to 74mm, and I don't understand why manufacturers keep stopping at max 68mm.

​@@64Papiculore were a few people that got their hands on it though. One of them said it was the best racing experience he's ever had. And the graphics are as close as they can get to the flat screen version.

@@stefandinu6389 Yeah, as you can see if you take a look at my channel, I played GT sport in VR for long enough to know for sure that GT7 will be a real treat, probably one of the biggest blast we had in a long time in video games! ^^

Agree with pancake lenses, untethered no thanks. I'm fine dealing with a cable and not have to play mobile games. Technology just isn't there yet for an affordable wireless headset that can give you good graphics too.
