I have the H9. Do the magnetic planar drivers really make a difference, in your opinion? I was considering the Elite as well for my Switch

@LRon-ef7ni they do! The elites sound better forsure. I find it to be more clear and crisp. The Inzones sound good to but not as great as the elites. Thing is the inzones have noise cancelation which helps a lot imo. So it's a tough decision.

I'm not sure if it's just my headset but I'd be surprised if it was: the plastic used on the arm and the ear cups make this really really annoying clicking sound when you talk or chew e.g. gum. Even with the headset switched off, it still makes this really annoying clicking noise. My workaround was to put some rubber between the arm and the ear cup on both sides and it solved the issue. It just looks a bit daft. I've also had disconnecting issues but since I relocated the dongle to the front USB I've not had any further issues. Everything else seems really good in terms sound quality... Just disappointed with the build quality based on the point mentioned above....

I'm waiting for the H5 comparisement. Been waiting for such a video for weeks but noone has made it yet. They all compare it to the H9 which I don't understand cause it's 1 year old already and double the price... So thanks for making it, looking forward to it!

I really hope that the Sony XM6 headphones 🎧 (which should be coming out this year) will have the new planar magnetic drivers that are in the Pulse Elite 😃

Is they make the xm6 with planar magnetic drivers? They better be better than the ones in the Pulse Elite as these in my opinion. I've used them with apple music on my PlayStation 5 and when you go with the bass booster EQ their garbage, they vibrate way too much and your music sounds distorted when you listen to rap hip hop and any music that has thumpy Bass.

Honestly, I'm trying hard to love the Pulse Elite. But when you have encountered disconnection issues and one of the drivers ends up vibrating has crackling and popping sounds depending on the game you're in and it sounds like foil paper being crumbled then it's hard to love and recommend these headphones right now. I'm on my last pair. I have returned several to Best Buy and then have held in a decent way. Now. The only other problem they have is the material they're made of the previous pairs. I had that I ended up returning most of them were scuffed and scratched right out of the box on the black plastic of the ear cups. So bear in mind that they are easily prone to scratches and scuffs if you don't treat them with care. Yet no one talks about these issues besides one video i saw here the other day

@@kucerka888 Correct, you are only had popping. Sounds on one pair. The only thing that did bother me. Was the disconnection issue and hopefully an update conviction? Just like the one they released for the controllers. And their microphone. Can wait to pick up my new headset on the 22nd of March and hopefully I don't get popping sounds anymore. And they release an update soon enough because gaming in the first generation. It's a step back. I tried doing it yesterday with the Pulse three d and world of tanks didn't feel the same way

It’s funny how every reviewer is saying these are good when they are not. I sent mine back. My astros a50 sounded so much better and didn’t have issues with not connecting every time I turn on the ps5. I used them for a week and all I can say is beware.

Nobody who reviews these has had any issue with random disconnection ? That's all I'm reading, Amazon reviews, Reddit etc.. myself including ! Phoned Ps support and they know nothing about the issue, hopefully it's a software issue or it's something they're trying to hide !

I really want to love this headset, but it's complicated even though it has planar magnetic drivers. You got to Hope luck is on your side when you unbox them. My last pair right out of the box had a bunch of Scrubs on the black plastic of the ear cups. I did experience the disconnection issue and I also had crackling and popping on one of the drivers which sounded like they were crumbling foil paper. Obviously, I couldn't get a new pair from Best Buy right on the spot because they're flying out the shelves and not in stock in the store. So far. The replacement I purchased is doing pretty good. Haven't had any disconnection issues. Only time will tell if it happens. I will return these and wait for Sony to fix the problem.

I had the pulse elite for 1 day and returned it. Here's why: 1 the lack of bass, there's no bass at all only highs and mids. 2 the comfort, they are uncomfortable and don't feel right. 3 the ratteling noise of the earcups, they are to lose and feel so weak. 4 the random disconnecting, they loos connection couple times every hour. 5 the lights on the headset are in the vision of the player. 6 they are not fit good with the psvr2. 7. No replaceable ear pads. Save your money and buy another headset!!

Not too powerful in the bass, this guys being paid by Sony, haha….there is no bass on these headphones
