A real dog isn't a "Gift" or something like that it is a living thing and its your duty that your dog isn't sick and has enough exercise/action every day...so probably youre parents just dont buy you a dog because they think you couldnt do all that. Trust me i've got a dog and dont missunderstand me dogs are great and really lovely ! But they are also hard work :) I have to take my dog for a walk everyday like 2 times a day each time up to 1:30-2 hours ! :)
