Awesome mod! (soldering is painful to watch though, just let it flow a bit on those pads so you don't get cold solder joints). Also, I would definitely use better tape or some other method, as I'd bet money these will be rattling around soon (masking tape gets brittle as it ages)

I soldered the Speakers in, but i have to cut the housing later. Sound is better, but not loud that i think before doing this Mod.

Thank you very much, in my country it is easier to get replacements for Switch than for Vita. The only problem I have is that when I close the PS Vita the speakers sound bad again, like there is something rubbing against the membranes and that makes it sound strange, but if I keep the volume at medium it doesn't sound so bad

@@SilentRose20 you can also use psp 1000 speakers, same loudness with the switch speakers, but smaller, it can fit to the vita without removing some plastics of the vita back shell

Does the Nintendo speaker still produce the same level of dB(loudness)? I saw some people on Reddit say the output us quiet when they used Samsung S20 Ultra speakers because of volts going to the speaker are too low.

I also read on reddit about using samsung s20 ultra speaker but unfortunately he use earpieace not loudspeaker thats why produce quiet sound. Awesome mod actually if you use nintendo switch speaker I will try my own ps vita also later!

switch speakers is par with vita speakers but the its con is it needs to cut some plastic parts of the vita back shell

nope. but the best alternative for the vita speakers is psp 1000 speakers. smaller and louder.

Pwede ba kahit wala na soldering? Like mas lakihan yung exposed area nung speaker then iikot dun sa contacts then i secure ng electrical tape?

yes. dipende sa diskarte, ginawa ko din yan sinakto ko lang yung contacts, para pag closed ng back cover magdidikit yung contacts.

you can also use psp 1000 speakers. It is smaller than the switch speakers

@Gloryboyquan all psp speakers will work, but a pair of 2000 or 3000 speakers is very soft. one speaker of 1000 is around 70% in volume compare to a pair of vita speakers, so it means if I install 2 1000 speakers it will be loader than the vita speakers

mas malakas ang switch speakers compare sa original speakers, pero hindi ko na adviceable ngayon ang switch speakers since malaki sya. Ang prefer ko na ngayon na gamitin is psp 1000 speakers dahil maliit lang sya and malakas din ang sounds. Mas malakas din kesa original speakers
