Honestly the one PSVR 2 game I keep going back to over the past few weeks is No Man's Sky. It's genuinely impressive how far that game has come and respect to Hello Games for continuing the support for it.

They have an option for gun stability in Pavlov. It's called a virtual gun stock in the options menu and if u turn it to on, it helps tremendously

You can also actually buy a physical gun stock to Pavlov where you can mount the PS VR2 hand controller to it to make it feel more like a real rifle. For an example MagTube gunstock from ProTubeVR, but I have seen other similar products as well. Sanlaki VR on KZbin show the PS VR2 version.

Honestly, for me, RE8 VR is worth it- that game 100% was made for PSVR2. And RE4R will have VR support and it is just around the corner too. GT7 is a nice bonus for me. Really hope all the major VR titles consider doing PSVR2 ports, would LOVE to play SUPERHOT VR with this thing.

As an avid GT7 player with a rig, wheel and pedals i have to say tue PSVR2 has been an absolute game changer. Without a doubt the greatest gaming experience I've ever had. It really is a game changer

For me, immersion yes but for outright pace, no. Not yet atleast. With the current online time trial gt3 at Catalunya I'm getting a 1:40.9 on flat with time still to lose, but in VR around 1:41.5 and hit a plateau. Was hoping to be a lot quicker in VR with the depth perception, but I'm a lot slower. Hopefully it'll be a game changer for me when I'm consistently faster and using it 100% of the time.

@voongnz i think just like when you go from controller to wheel, it just takes time. Continue practicing and you'll get pace. I still am not as fast in VR, but enjoy it way more. And for me enjoyment>pace

Two more games i would at as the good ones: Pistol Whip and, if you're into it, Puzzling Places. Pistol Whip is a rhythm based on-rail shooter, Puzzling Places a 3D Puzzle game. I really like both of them, but here I am liking Kayak VR because of it's soothing atmosphere.

I hope with this, PS doesn't get discouraged quickly and stops pushing out games. They did that with the vita and a lot of their other stuff, but I know it can be hard to push if people aren't adopting it, so they often won't make more games that utilize it. Happened with Kinect, PS Vita, and a ton of other stuff. I've been hearing great things about the PS VR 2 and it looks like it would be a great experience, it just needs the games. It is unfortunate that the "system seller" for PS VR is rather mediocre with Horizon. it needed something as good as Half Life Alyx as a launch title.

I think Kayak would have been a better game if it had been more focused on a living believable world with storms and avalanches. Battleing white waters, challenging level design. Timed events, perhaps having bears chassing you along a revean, and you have to race them before they can run across a log that pears over the stream where they can eat you.

Resident Evil Village was pretty fun, but GT 7 is a revolutionary experience, and if Sony can figure out some way to crank out more truly immersive experiences like that in the future, PSVR2 is going to kill its PC VR competition easily.

Synth Riders is really good on PSVR2. Has a lower entry barrier than Beat Saber, lots of songs from different genres, and is just a blast to play. Also, do check out Pistol Whip.

This games has existed on other platforms before. Also with in the first 3 months of PS VR2 launch window there will be over 40+ games in the store.

I am still waiting on getting PS5 and PSVR2. I plan to play GT7 one day and I am hoping for more tittles like HL Alyx. I might be just getting old, but I find no incentive to hop for next gen or upgrade my PC. There are now rarely any games on the radar that worth keeping an eye on, just to see it as another disappointment when it releases. My current strategy is wait a year or two after a games is released. Not seen a game in a long time that I would want to play on day one.

The Call of the Mountain was a huge disappointment. It costs like an AAA game but it should me max 20$. There's literally nothing more than climbing, and some useless and boring side activities like wall painting and stone stacking. Resident Evil Village is MUCH better and cheaper.

Just so you are aware no game they release will ever look the same in the headset as they do on the flatscreen. One reason is because the game has to be rendered twice one angle for each eye. That adds a significant tax on the hardware. Secondly when you have the screen that close to your eyes even with 4k display although it's actually two 2k panels the individual pixels appear larger making them more noticable. The sweet spot is a fresnel lens issue. The Index has the same problem. Oculus/meta has a better sweet spot in their lenses but they have worse edge to edge clarity.

GT 7 and Resident Evil 8 Village were designed from the start to include VR at a later date. Sony has stated that it wants developers to include VR as an addition to flat-screen titles, not as VR only. As a result, it is likely that we won't see as many games built specifically for VR in future, which, I think is a good strategy as it will reduce the shovelware token tech demo titles.

You need to try Zenith, an excellent MMO. That and No Man's Sky can keep anyone infinitely busy if you're worried about longevity. I think your bigger problem is just that you're not that into VR, you're curious but not big on it. If you were than you'd notice a lot more than just 10 games to play, most of the launch lineup is actually pretty great.

Job/Vacation Simulator wouldn't be the first games I'd recommend for people new to VR as they're basically overpriced tech demos but Half-Life Alyx, Beat Saber, Superhot, Resident Evil 4, Demeo, Walkabout Mini Golf, and Compound are all worth buying just to name a few.

The kayaking one needs to add extreme kayaking where you go down a hillside stream or culvert into the lake or ocean at high speed (Did not expect them to pull out pavlov: pro tip for gun stability: have some experience with irl guns or similar objects and patience. And an extra sensor for accuracy on your controllers)

star wars is a good game for building your vr leg , its my first game that i completed while i was still suffering from motion sickness a lot . With teleportation locomotion its all good for a quick play mission . Combat is fun and looking for stuff too , jedi segment are amazing but short .... you got to be with yoda in one mission , i tried to hug him lol . I wish we had somekind of jedi game but not vader immortal wich is a cash grab for me , its still good .

I honestly miss the PS Move, though there weren't many games for it, the Move Sports was a super fun party game that my friends and I played for years every time they came over. We would only play the PS VR once each person when my guy got a new game for it (I didn't bother buying it because I knew it wouldn't be fun more than a few times), then it sat on his shelf. I really don't see VR getting any better unless they manage to make holographic games and get rid of the visor altogether.

My personal favorite has to be team ASOBI Astrobot Rescue Mission from the PSVR. I really liked the VR aspect as standing behide the tiny bot. I was smiling through the entirety of that game. Really hoping for a sequel.

My main issue with this is still relevant from the first you will have a handful of decent games surrounded by ton shovelware and this will keep continuing as its still very niche and thats mainly down to how expensive the kit is.

There are many fun games in VR for the PSVR2. Please don't try to look smart with your comment because everybody is saying that... VR is awsome. Support it or let people find out for themselves. If you give it a fair and positive change your gonna have a lot of fun. Negative BS is only gonna delay the awsome future that VR could give us... Be positive and enjoy

There would be no way to convert the PS Move button layout to the new controllers. The Dualsense can't also be tracked so even PSVR1 games that used the DS4 wouldn't work. I would have hoped that Sony would fork over money to get the top 25 games ported, but unfortunately they didn't. It's a shame because games like Astrobot Rescue Mission are awesome.

I'll add from a review on J2C he said he had an issue with PS VR2 in Pavlov, he could not grab a magazine while trying to re-load unless he looked down to his waist to grab a magazine since the HMD's cameras could not track where the left controller was. I purchase Pavlov VR on Steam for $5 on a sale making it even better deal and a very fun gun game.

@@popjibbletz literally the only difference is deeper blacks. Quest 2 has 120hz can display 4k on each eye, you need a good pc you console fgs just don’t know how to get the most out of your hardware unfortunately

Saying that the 3rd party games don’t count is actually not correct in my opinion if this is your first or only VR headset. And a lot of games like Moss, Star Wars and Jurassic World actually are way better looking and running on PsVR2, just look at comparison video’s its like playing PS4 games (on PSVR 2 vs PS2 and PS3 games (like on Meta quest 2)

Bros...I knew call of the mountain was gonna be garbage. On rails typical vr nonsense. Hitman 3 in vr is the best game in vr thus far. It's a FULLLLL GAAAMMEE! Give us ACTUAL games. No more of these "experiences" they are going to kill vr as a medium.

Hi Joe. I think your statement regarding star wars not using psvr2 extra features is not correct. First the graphics are much much improved with complete new textures. 2nd and most prominently the controller haptics and triggers completely transforms this game and gives it so much new identity. So it does do a lot to utilize psvr2 features

Eye tracking could make camera panning obsolete. Imagine looking at corners of the screen to move the camera angle to where to want to see

My controllers are broken. They work outside of game, but when I go in a game the Vr controllers don’t work at all. Only the PS button works.
