Thanks Sony for sharing this on KZbin. Would love to see more of these interviews with the people behind the console and games. I especially enjoyed the post E3 Press conferences last year with the panel discussing "video games as art" and "the importance of story telling" along with the "Kaz" documentary this year. Please keep it up. Thanks.

This was a great interview. I wish Sony PlayStation would release more interviews like this and include the developers and what not. I know a lot of gamers who just want to hear about the next AAA game but there are tons of people like me that enjoy listening to the road that had to be taken.

Why is it that whenever people interview Andy House, Jack Tretton, and all the higher ups at Sony, they never ask them what kind of video games they like to play? Do they literally tell them not to even ask?
@thegingabishouen4 жыл бұрын
I know I'm "necroing" your comment, but there's a fantastic interview with Cerny and Shuhei Yoshida, and you can REALLY tell that Shu is a huge gamer. Buys every console of every company, and even multiples for each region. He talked about how Nintendo banned BOTH his WiiU's because he put his Twitter in his MiiVerse banner(which identified him, which is against their ToS). The other reason was because he said "I

At 59:20 Mark Cerny tells how PS4 did make it more of a possibility for Hallo Games to actually develop No Man's Sky more easier to the PS4 architecture with 8Gb of unified DDR5 memory on a custom chip card in PS4. I understand what he pointing at, but many doesn't still understand this and most of the master race people and xbots are those.
@d0x36010 жыл бұрын
The ps4 architecture has absolutely nothing to do with that game. It could have been done on any console. Ps2 could do it. Ps2 has done stuff like this. The only difference is how many objects can be loaded into memory. Xbot? Fanboy much? Don't let PR speak fool you. Every word out of microsoft and Sony is PR speak. Eat it up.
@victorijapoosp10 жыл бұрын
d0x360 no man's sky on ps2? yeah... good luck with that. Also you are the one with "x360" in your name, probably not smart to call people "fanboys".

No. No mans sky was being developed on PC Not on consoles till they had a flood and all their work was destroyed. Sony stepped in and are funding them to work on the ps4 version of the game, That is why they are being quite about the PC version right now. After the ps4 version expect a PC version announcement.

Sony please take the rights of Crash Bandicoot, a character die Actvision is doing valuable, did die Spyro the Dragon, Spyro could have an important story today, but Activision to sell his Skylanders Spyro was used to sell the game, Sony please do that Crash Bandicoot does not disappear, and you buy the rights to that character, Crash Bandicoot on Playstation 4

There you have it. "PSX" the PlayStation long before the Japanese PS2/DVDR hybrid. People who call PlayStation PSX aren't morons, but ones in Sony who named that later device are.

My harddrive on PS4 is allready full with games, and is the result of turning all digital. It is ofcourse my own decision since I could have just aswell bought them on disc. But isnt this something sony have been pushing from start, to turn all digital? So how are you going to address this issue. I know, buy a bigger harddrive, but isnt the PS4 limited to 1TB or something? Even that is small considering these big games are HUGE downloads and each take up alot of harddrive space. When 500GB takes this little time to fill up, I think eventually the next 500 will be pretty easy to fill up aswell. Delete the game I play the least, and be patient next time I feel I like to play those game, because I need to redownload?
@evklinken9 жыл бұрын
I have the same issue, and I think it's a two-fold problem. 1) The HDD they shipped is too small, should've realistically been 2 TB to be comfortable for all-digital users. 2) Developers put zero emphasis on keeping files small. Battlefield 4 isn't 40 GB because of the enormous amount of content, it's 40 GB because nearly anything can stay uncompressed. Which is nice, but not optimized for space.

Sony Crash Bandicoot seve be of your property, not Activision, as Nintendo has its Super Mario, Zelda, etc. .., Crash Bandicoot must remain only your exclusive, we want to see him with other characters of your property, Knack, Jak and Daxter, Medievil and Parappa the Rapper, Crash Bandicoot an exclusive Sony
