I came here to check if the hype for the PS5 is justified. It seems to me like it is, because for the ps4 he just described basic software development processes of collaboration, and then made the PS4 a cheap PC, which is what I felt it was. I'm even more excited to see the PS5 now.

Dude is a genius really, didn't you hear him say he was in university all while being 16? This dude in the level of Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Steve Jobs...
@fabiosilva12694 жыл бұрын
@Landa Denise Malone Elon Musk has revolutionized the world more than Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, they just revolutionized the tech industry, Elon has done that as well with Paypal but he is taking the first people on Space Tourism Trips, created the most popular brand of cars which happens to be the most environmental friendly thus helping the decaying state of the world, prototyping extreme ways of travelling (hyperloop), in my opinion his impact in terms of importance to the world is bigger than Bill Gates or Steve Jobs. Bill Gates is the biggest philanthropist ever so maybe Elon isn't the most important but his role in helping the world to be "healthier" is one of the most important, if not the most important one.

i’m genuinely deeply saddened we don’t get to see mark cerny explain the ps5 pro in this fashion. people might’ve not understood the presentations (road to ps4 and ps5) but regardless, when understood you really realize this is a man who is easily able to translate difficult game language to palpable information. he talks in an extremely complex yet simple way and it’s better seeing that he’s genuinely interested in the technology and he comes from a background of games. it’s simply genius and yet we get a 9 minute presentation that is simply poor due to length. they didn’t even market all their features on the presentation. i hope this comes back. he is a genuinely very well spoken person and that’s extremely rare.

I think the point of the talk was actually for Mark Cerny to talk about himself, you get lots of people doing these talks in the industry at events like this, the fact it's on the Playstation Chanel and it leads into him talking about Playstation. Where as if you wanted to hear him talk about his work on Playstation 4 then it would probably be better to watch the February announcement and news articles from around that time that detail the hardware and creating it.
