Superb Playthrough, thanks! - clear, consise expanations as always. Your enthusiasm for the game came through so strongly right from the start. It looks a terrific game - Other playthroughs I have watched show to use a recommended starter setup for beginners which you briefly touched on, then you move to the more advanced mode (which you played here) I've just preordered the game - can't wait to give it a try, though suspect I will have to go through some pain before getting that winning feeling! Congratulations on your first win! Hopefully you will find time to explore the campaign mode a little for the game too. Thanks again

Thanks for the playthrough! I was totally playing it wrong. I thought, I totally just probably read it wrong in the instructions, that you could only play one ally ability once per turn, and you had to choose that ally ability before the ruler played their card. So here I was thinking that your turn was when you played all 8 cards, so I would only play one ally ability, then play all 8 cards, and then start again hahaha. I totally goofed that up bwahahaha.

I’m going to say both the art being kind of “juvenile” and the storyline, even affecting the rulebook are detractors. But….this is a really enjoyable game. Easy to get to the table. I simply can’t get enough of it!
