Love the CEDH channels that actually record the game audio instead of narrating. Y'all seem to be having a ton of fun, and I also enjoy the asides where you talk about decision points or mistakes or what not. Great channel, subbed!
@allbadmanners
@allbadmanners 3 жыл бұрын
I actually didn't like that at first because I was so used to narrating the game channels and it breaks away from the game when they cut to themselves talking about the game afterwards between plays but it's kinda cool to hear them go over certain combos and misplays whenever you have it on in the background and your not paying absolute attention to the gameplay.

Hey fellas, another kick-ass video! Just wanted to point out that Curse of Opulence creates a Gold token for both the owner and the player that attacks the cursed player, so Korvold should have had more Gold tokens in game 2, which would have been more mana and extra cards! Also would have likely made players reconsider attacking the cursed player as much as they did.

“Vault” can also be used as a verb like leaping or jumping over, so Lim-Dûl’s Leap and it makes sense since you’re paying 1 life each time to jump over 5 cards.

"As the resident casual player..." bit killed me, I'm a big fan of tyler already. I've been loving the videos guys, great stuff. I kinda agree with you about the atla deck but i feel it's in the same vein as Gitrog, a deck that has lines to win but their weird or complex and imo it's better to run blue just for the fish. As much as i hate the fish, i think decks without just suffer from not having arguably the best win con though at the end of the day, whatever's fun for you is what's best for you.

Tyler here - gotta own up that Dylan's been converting me to some extent. Two of my poor casual decks are sitting with 3-5 empty sleeves each because I've been pillaging them for cEDH relevant cards 😂 RIP Kykar

As someone who is going back and rewatching all the gameplay vids (work is boring ok?) there’s a few things I find funny and interesting: A) this is the first time we actually see Tyler, B) wow, cam’s hair is so much shorter, C) Dylan hasn’t aged at all in these 3 years, D) Tyler calling himself the “resident casual player” is humorous to me considering how much you see him play the technically complex decks nowadays. Anyways, thanks for 3 amazing years of content and fun. Y’all are such an amazing group to watch and here’s to many more years of content. Happy new years!🎉

What great games and content. The music transitions and crisp cards slapping on the table are little things but they stand out! Q&A: In light of the recent Pheonixville tournament being top-4’d by Oona, Tatyova, Heliod, and Yisan, which “Tier 1.5-2” decks do you play and which, if any, do you think are best-positioned in the meta. Thanks!

my favorite build of Atla Palani (which i'd love to see a rematch) is where you run every board wipe and noncreature ramp you can and your ONLY creatures in the deck is Heliod Sun Crowned and Triskilion. Your trying to ramp and put a bunch of White mana sources on field as quickly as possible while board wiping when you need to without having to draw too many cards. Then your gonna slap Atla on field and just before your turn your gonna make an egg, then when you untap make another egg and preferably before you draw kill both eggs. Then your gonna put Heliod and Trike on field, use a white mana and a second mana to give Trike lifelink, then win. What i love about this build is you DO NOT touch the graveyard unless for "flashback".

Point of order: when naming a card with demonic consultation, you need to name a card that is legal in the format ...
@pe3der

So I don't think you're right though I'm not 100% sure. I was able to find an MTG salvation post in rulings archives that cites different text for rule 201.3 than the current comprehensive rules. In that post, the cited rules text does care about format legality; in the current comprehensive rules, that text is removed from 201.3 which refers only to the card being in the Oracle database.
