Nice games! Amazing to see Codie go off. I wonder if someday we can see Tyler on camera :) It didn’t end up mattering for the game, at @13:08 Dylan’s life didn’t update after the Ad Nauseum. Don’t think you paid any life after it resolved, curious how aggressive in life you went down

I think I caught some missed damage that would have changed the outcome of the second game. The Wheel of Misfortune should have cost Dylan 11 life since he was the highest bidder. His Ad Naus would have started at 26 life and he wouldn't have been able to get the Underworld Breach or the Spirit Guide. I wouldn't usually post something like this, but I thought it was worth mentioning because of the commentary about Wheel of Misfortune at the end. Still fun to watch. Your style of capturing EDH gameplay is great! Thank you for making these videos!

I don't play cedh but I have to say that I love watching your games! I like how you cut away to explain your reasoning at the time something happens instead of waiting till the end. I also get to see interesting card interactions and cards I didn't know about. Keep up the amazing work!

Total missed opportunity to introduce Jesper as noted cedh bird watcher and artist haha. I also appreciate the candor in the cut in Dylan where you discussed how you missed a line of play and only noticed during editing everyone has that happen and I like seeing you discuss it, one of my favorite things about the channel is that cut in reflection on the state of play.

I tried my best but there was a card I was unable to determine in the second naus pile. Everything else came to 31 life and the card I was unable to determine was the 6th in the pile I think I can see a single mana symbol on that card(maybe rain of filth?), so Dylan would have gone to somewhere around 5 life from that pile for those who are curious how aggressive the naus was.

I figured he would have a counter interaction and would draw it out in order for keeping resources out of his hands in case others had interaction. If failing we would loose anyway.
@koreyg85523 жыл бұрын
@@JesperEjsing in cedh it’s frowned upon and considered spite play to cast a pact on a opponent if you can’t pay its upkeep cost. It’s essentially king making because you’re killing yourself and not winning and letting someone else win. In cedh pods generally they wouldn’t even accept that play, I get why you would do it but it’s essentially not allowed
@PlaytoWinMTG3 жыл бұрын
Nah it’s not a spite play at all. Jesper knew I had counter magic to stop the pact which would give Jesper an extra draw off rhystic study to find another answer
