As a kid and teenager being Filipino was always something people used against me, never for me, and I remember going through a phase where I hid it from people. This honestly made me so emotional. I’m a Filipina who was born and raised in NYC. NYC is as diverse as it can get, but growing up, Filipino representation in the media was not so common. I remember seeing people on tv and finding out they were even a quarter Filipino made me so proud! Flash forward to today, seeing a strong Filipina character made for such a popular game still gives me the chills! I couldn’t be more proud of and grateful for Vanille for representing us, and grateful for Riot for highlighting us and our culture during the release of this new agent! Would definitely love to see this kind of video for the voice actors of the other agents!

Lol adding an indian agent will be like a gamble cuz either the game will become popular here or the so called hindu nationalists will somehow connect how riot is showing indian as terrorist by using guns and planting bombs (actually spike but why will the care) and the fact that the parent company of riot is a chinese company therefore getting the game banned in here.

That's what I thought as well. But as someone on stream said, that would be a problem here. People might comment on costumes or her look and how it hurts sentiments....all such things will happen. And like another comment here said, the agent planting the spike will be taken in the wrong way. The political and religious climate is just like that. I would love nothing more than to have an Indian agent, but this is the reality.
