Love this channel. One of the few channels that narrate stories from actual writers instead of creating word vomit through AI or outright stealing stories without asking or giving credit to original authors.

... wow, they left Canada out. Honestly, Canada given its low population in northern regions, and its "low ambition" would hav accepted as many as would settle. Huge area's in NWT and Northern Sask and Man would have been perfect for them, cold enough, basic infrastructure but with just 1 or 2 of the large ships acting as "cargo ferries" entire cities could have been built quick for them.

@@geofthompson3844 oh canada's always getting forgotten and left out. on 9/11 2001 as the twin towers were being attacked, Canada began Operation Yellow Ribbon. Bringing in any and all aircraft stranded and past the point of no return to Canadian air fields. One town alone, gander newfound landed, having an airport with just 2 runways, played host to 38 airliners, 473 air crews, and 6,122 stranded passengers. now 6500 people may not seem like a lot. Until you realize Ganders population is 11,000. People were putting up trailers in homes, the Pharmacy opened its doors to provide emergency prescriptions for free. And this scene was repeated in a dozen communities across Canada, with 240 aircraft total landing away from large population centers as a mater of safety. After the Incident, the US put out a great speech about how though all of this, their Closest friend and strongest Ally stood with them. The United Kingdom. Yep...

Not bad, though it's succor not sucker. That's one that the AI probably tripped up on. Beyond that, a good story. Nice to see callouts to the whole world in this one. Curious why the States got pre-panda visitors like that, but seemingly no one else...though it did work out, keeping this place hidden throughout the flames of war, by making sure there was no one to go back out to tell tales. Outside of that, it's an overall good setup, and nice payoff. This is a one-shot, and it feels like it. Not like others which can sometimes come across as chapter 1, but we never get more. This is the totality of its tale being told here and now, and I like it. Excellently paced, good ending reveal, and the AI art is okay to pretty good...though that flipped tail in the last image is REALLY distracting.

Holy fuck I'm starting to cry. All of these stories feel so real. Like someone wrote out their life on reddit for someone to eventually make a video adapting it into audio form. I know it's not real but damn, I get so attached to these bro.

The first ones that would drag those responsible for atrocities against sentients would be the American citizenship itself, lots of stuff would happen in America after such a reveal. But I can see aliens preferring Nordic and second world countries and places with more amenable people. It would have been better to state the American Government, or whichever government it would happen to be. Remember those in power are so often disconnected from their citizens they end up doing things without really asking their constituents. Just because a leader and cronies like to do horrible things it didn't mean the majority of citizens are in on it.
@butterg9535

True, but look at us now. The few in power say and do whatever they want, to our faces, knowing we can't do anything about it. We're likely to be one of the glassed worlds.
