Great chat. Love that Mike mentioned the Virginia Reel (though I only ever remember them calling it The Reel). Went on it the year they demolished it. It was very rough and span like crazy. The bit in the tunnel towards the end was surprisingly long and had lots of coloured lights and that combined with the spinning made it very disorientating. I banged heads with person next to me several times and nearly got knocked out. 😂

I do miss spin Drs a little bit as I love boosters, when the run correctly! I do miss playing as well especially when it was sparkling at night with the strobes😎 But I do enjoy its replacement thankfully.

Happy anniversary fellas! What’s coincidence I’m watching this 7th May 2022! I’ve been trying to figure out who Mark reminds me of for ages… and I’ve finally realised he’s like Karl Pilkington’s more cheerful brother! Haha. Still fairly new to the channel and catching up but I’m loving the content, old and new. And if I ever bump into you guys at pleasure beach please let me buy you a pint! Legends.

Scott i am booked on for my first walk the big one tomorrow night and am a little worried about it being cancelled because of the wind do you no what the maximum wind speed has to be for them to cancel it ? i have rang pleasure beach and they just said we will assess it on the day but that doesn't help when i have got a 3 hour drive to get there ? any help would be great .

Great video, I miss the Fun House, a few times I spent half a day in there. Reel is definitely the coaster I wish I got to ride at BPB. I really wish BPB would implement all the changes you suggested. New lab bar trains and a building over Smiler would be great. It could be one of the best dark coasters in the world and have great theming, rather than 2 average Euro Fighters stuck together in a concrete ditch.

I don't even like Coasters but still watch your videos! Hard to believe Mark has only been around since 2017 as I have him down as the most marketable action figure slightly ahead of Stuz, Mullet and Mike but thats mainly due to his catch phrase selection!

I would love Pleasure Beach to get a GCI as well, but instead of Nickland it would be on the current Bowl la drome/ FY4 site as in my opinion that would be the perfect replacement for the wild mouse and it would mean Pleasure Beach would be back up to 5 Woodies again🙂

Pleasure Beach Experience didn't you say last year at one point that you thought Pleasure Beach would get back up to 5 again eventually? What made you change your mind? I'm sure I remember Nick Thompson saying not that long ago that he had designs for a few rides without taking any out.

Doug Briglmen There’s a recent article with an interview with Amanda where it’s mentioned it is likely to be a one in one out process with rides, hopefully it’s a misquote. It’s been a very long time since I heard anything about a 5th woodie at BPB, I just don’t see it happening anymore unless things change (again). Not everything that’s said 12 months or however long ago stays the same, I’ve said this to you a million times before that holding onto everything said is pointless because things change.

Pleasure Beach Experience I strongly suspect that is a misquote tbh, Nick Thompson wouldn't have said that in that interview if there wasn't some truth to it. It's just a case of when they have the money to do it, i'd like to hope that Pleasure Beach are a bit more open-minded than that with 5th woodie but time Will tell.

The smiler is a good concept but is has a bad layout. It feels like it's too repetitive and of it had lap bars and a refurbished queue I would ride it so much more. It's great but a bit over rated. Just put it in a tent.
