Keep up the good work mate, im 40 now and had given up going to themeparks but watching yours and other peoples vlogs has got me back into it, i went to Blackpool pleasure beach last Thurs for the first time in 10 years, wow, what a day, ICON is one of the best coasters in the country, we went on it 9 times throughout the day and it just got better and better, could of sat on it all day, however its still a close 2nd to Nemesis as my number 1 UK coaster, u just cant beat Nemesis im afraid

It's legit! In my experience, there are very few times where advertising and marketing don't oversell a place or product. Cedar Point is one of those rare exceptions, though. Their advert tagline, "A Place Like No Other ", is about as accurate a description as possible. 'Cos you get lured in by the promise of these massive, overwhelming, engineering marvel scream machines, right?You quickly realize, however, that there is WAY more to this place than JUST world class roller coasters. It's worth every nickel!

I really like the Top Thrill Dragster footage at the beginning......talking to the camera while that TOWER of a ride launches.......there’s a nice aesthetic to it visually.....just talking about the ride and seeing it climb and fall in the background.........and, while POV footage of rides/ coasters has its place......I like the off-ride coverage......you get a better idea of a ride’s impact.......just watching a coaster train tear through the track’s elements.....nothing to beat it...... Cedar Point and King’s Island were my home parks growing up-Six Flags Over Georgia is now (This park surprised me......lots of wooded areas.....coasters that use their terrain......etc etc.....RIDE GOLIATH AND TWISTED CYCLONE!!!!).......last time I was to Cedar Point was the year Top Thrill Dragster opened.......you couldn’t comprehend a rollercoaster that size because it didn’t exist......it was the same-to a point-when I remember seeing Magnum XL200 in ‘89........or Millennium Force in 2000........throughly enjoying these Pleasure Beach Experience videos......this 2019 footage with a bigger group/ more parks is great.....can’t wait to see more content

The Jackalope No exaggeration at all, it’s a fantastic coaster with excellent air time and is perfectly safe.

Pleasure Beach Experience I never said it’s unsafe just more unsafe When I went half of the seats you could not sit in because they said the seat belts were broken and half of the seats that were working had really lose seat belts so that when you had airtime you would literally lift out of your seat making you feel like your gonna fall out... it’s just that ride that people forget about... it’s just in the back of the park and never has any lines... And I live really close and have gone 47 times

The Jackalope Magnum XL 200 is safe, it had three working trains with all seats in use during our visit, claiming it’s not as safe as other coasters is a little odd. Magnum’s throughput is better than MF’s, it also has high ridership thanks to the excellent throughputs.

Ohhh the TTD is amazing, you'll ride it, trust me!! It doesnt have thrill in its name for no reason, thats what its all about....THRILL! you will be more scared waiting in that long line from anticipation rather than the actual ride itself, the actual ride is not scary at all. You can thank me later 😉
@jimmytwo39985 жыл бұрын
Craig Noils ok . If I make it to Ohio I will definitely go on TTD . I need to get my courage up by riding stealth a few more times. I really find your group relatable because you talk about things that matter to me like the pain factor with certain rides. But I’m realising that “roughness” isn’t always a bad thing . We’re experiencing these huge beautiful feats of engineering with all their different quirks and forces. I’m becoming interested in the older metal coasters like the corkscrews . They look so slow but when you ride them they feel quite forceful. I remember queuing for the corkscrew at Alton towers in 1985 . Very exciting . I want to get back to Blackpool to ride the big one again . And revolution . Also grand national (which scared the life out of me lol) . I used to think smooth was better . But not so sure now
@craignoils67175 жыл бұрын
@@jimmytwo3998 ive never went on stealth, i just found out about it yesterday, but let me tell you this, TTD should feel identical to stealth, except the fact that stealth may be more underpowered and lower in height but trust me once TTD is over, your going to think to yourself "ohh wow that felt like stealth but only more intense and exciting" because of the dragster theme, which its based off of, a dragster car and im not going to lie... the dragster theme makes it seem 10X more intimidating than stealth... because the sound of the theme on the TTD is kinda scary because it makes race car noises and then it finally starts to say "hold on, head back, arms down" and then "3....2....1.... GO!!! which is more scary than the ride itself. Lol i went on it in 2016. It was a blast!
@AdamSmith-gs2dv5 жыл бұрын
Magnum was a mistake, Ron Toomer couldn't have possibly have known how intense those bunny hills were going to be. Case and point in it's first season Magnum used upstop PADs instead of wheels. They had to change to wheels because those bunny hills kept breaking the pads!
@yourexperienceguide5 жыл бұрын
Adam Smith I don’t think it was a “mistake”, but maybe more raucous and intense than expected, they’d have changed the layout or added more trims if it was a mistake.
@AdamSmith-gs2dv5 жыл бұрын
@@yourexperienceguide They did actually, the trims entering the pretzel turnaround weren't there originally and they also reprofiled the enterance into the turn around. Nathan Parker Easy to forget them when you’ve been on superior attractions 😅

Rita gets left behind by Furius Baco, it’s got no chance after TTD and Maverick!

I'm not saying Rita is better than any of those, I'm just saying it would be better if it had those restraints!

Raptor is a great ride but it's not the best B&M invert. Montu is still my fav.
@yourexperienceguide5 жыл бұрын
Ben Holland Montu was OK, thought it was a bit rattly to be honest.
@solskjaer11955 жыл бұрын
@@yourexperienceguide Really? Always found it super smooth tbh like most B&M's are. Also the theming is great.

Ben Holland Yeah, I rode it two years ago, don’t get me wrong it was really good but very rattly

I can’t believe they like Magnum better than Millennium. That’s fascinating 😂
@yourexperienceguide5 жыл бұрын
Nick Smith Welcome to the internet, everyone has different opinions, nothing fascinating about it.
@AdamSmith-gs2dv5 жыл бұрын
Millennium gets stale after you ride it hundreds of times. I used to like Millennium over Magnum too but today I much prefer Magnums insane air time and unpredictable ride.

Watch Zosh I left the park ten minutes before park close, those who did it queued 90 minutes and beyond park close, there’s another vlog to come so you’ll get their opinions soon enough 😅
