Okay as an American soldier and veteran of 2 conflicts can we admit that's a little weird? 1. Children don't fully comprehend what they're saying. 2. You pledge allegiance to a flag? I understand being loyal to a country, because by extension your loyalty to your fellow citizens. But to a flag? 3. Indivisible? 1860 would like to have a word with you. 4. Can't say liberty for all when there's a slavery loophole in the 13th amendment. 5. Well we all know Justice for All isn't true. It doesn't matter if you're innocent or guilty; if you cannot afford a good attorney you are at a significant disadvantage. Things like this didn't bother me as much until I had children myself.
