I really thank God that I found this channel a year ago. Its been a year since my conversion coz I was a lukewarm catholic. As my family moved in our new home I was saddened by the fact that our community consists of a lot of different religions. With praying the rosary everyday a lot of miracles happened to us and that includes the recent encounter with our parish priest who said that he would like our neighborhood to have a chapel where he can also celebrate mass. It was a dream of mine ever since my conversion! And I would like to humbly ask you all to pray for us that we may be able to accomplish it🙏

As always great to hear your talks and teach us about our faith. When we pray the Rosary we always pray for the pope’s intentions and the Church Our Father three Hail Mary’s and Glorie to be Father. Always pray for our departed loved ones and for the Holy Souls that might be forgotten or nobody to pray for them Always visit our loved ones graves And for the month of November visit the cemetery and pray for all the deceased laid to rest there. Masses always offered up on the anniversary of our deceased loved ones. Every night before I retire bless myself with holy water and remember the holy souls 🙏🙏🙏🇮🇪

It's a great feeling leaving the confessional knowing that Jesus' mercy has brought me closer to Our Heavenly Father in unity with the Holy Spirit. He knows my every weakness and still He holds my hands and leads us on. No love can compare with this love. It makes me cry in humility and gratitude. Thank you very much Rev.Fr.Chris for your enlightening message on Plenary Indulgences. You're in my daily prayers along with your parents and Pam and her family. God bless you and your Congregation always Amen Bangalore India 3/9/22

Great show on the plenary indulgences. I am glad to hear the 20days I thought it was still 8. I love the horses being used to help persons with mental or physical problems. I am on vacation so watching when I can on the computer.

This is why I love Healing by confession and His Divine Mercy ... ... can one imagine ... the healed spirit of Mary Magdellan ... what she might act like today ... in 2022 ??? Her essence would remain the same but cleansed in Jesus Christ 'oneness'.

I try to remember in morning prayer what you’ve taught us about asking God that if and when in the course of our day we’ve earned indulgences to please grant them. I hope I’m keeping our Blessed Mother busy distributing my indulgences, probably partial, (because I don’t physically attend daily Mass) where she thinks best. God bless this family who began Equine Dreams. God bless this fierce mom, who had the tenacity to help not only her Son, but countless others.

I was a practicing Alcoholic for a large part of my adult life, and we definitely hurt ourselves as well as others when we abuse alcohol. I wish I would have thought about how I was hurting our Lord at that time too. Maybe I would have gotten help sooner and gotten back to Church sooner.

These conditions for indulgences would really require a lot of calculations. So, I intend to leave this to God.
@DivineMercy_Official2 жыл бұрын
Sorry you must have misunderstood because there's no calculations involved. God bless
@MM222722 жыл бұрын
@@DivineMercy_Official Yes, I may have unintentionally misunderstood. What I mean is: my impression is that (1) I'd have to keep track the days and aspects of everything that involved with this process and (2) I'd have to try to weigh or discern all and any of my attachments to sins, because, if one is strongly or easily tempted, but doesn't sin, would that still indicate an attachment to a given sin? Or, is it just a trial that God permits and there may not be an inherent attraction. See, these things are hard to calculate. I am open and look forward to your reply. (PS: sorry for my delayed reply.)

By the way Fr Chris, can I pray the rosary online with the Marian priests and brothers. Would this count toward one of the plenary indulgences?
@DivineMercy_Official2 жыл бұрын
Good question. As we understand it the answer is yes
@VO_JayRedding2 жыл бұрын
I prefer in-person Adoration, but do you think virtual Adoration on KZbin or EWTN would be plenty indulgence? I question this because Confession must be in person in order to receive Absolution.
@sarah_b_5552 жыл бұрын
The Sacraments do have to be in-person, unfortunately.

Father Chris. Please help. Does this mean that even if we receive the graces from the feast of Divine Mercy, receive Holy Communion, go to confession every month, devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on First Fridays, and to Immaculate Conception every First Saturday, pray the Holy Rosary everyday, go to daily mass, that I will still go to purgatory because I have committed sins in the past? Please please clarify. I’m doing my best, because I want to go straight to Heaven. I also pray the Chaplet of Mercy a few times a week. I am also an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister. I try to be merciful to others and ask of Mercy. Thank you so much!

I know there is a plenary indulgence attached to Divine Mercy Sunday, but how are the regular graces of DMS different than a plenary?
@DivineMercy_Official2 жыл бұрын
The ending grace of the removal of all sin and temporal punishment is the same but per number 699 of the diary on that special day Christ is only requiring confession and communion. This is unlike a plenary indulgence which also has the condition of no attachment to sin. So this is a special grace in the extraordinary promise that all of us can achieve even if we are struggling in sin. Good question and God bless.
