PLO vs NLHE: What’s the Real Difference?

Have you tried PLO? If yes, what was your experience like compared to NLHE?

Deciphering which two cards each hand uses feels way too slow for me especially when all-in and cards are coming quick. Even when the cards are face-up I don't quickly recognize which cards to root for haha.

@@GTOWizard I feel PLO needs more geometric thinking, NLHD doesn’t coz I feel I can break down to different format and the results of river winning combo after the whole logical line doesn’t have that much. I don’t know if my thinking is right or wrong. I just feel Chart of PLO can by 3 Axis

For mathematically inclined people, plo is a much better game to play imo. The uncertainties are bigger but more 'manageable', if that makes sense. Also i has not been 'solved', giving maths people an edge.

Thanks, I'm a huge PLO fan, used to play a lot but bugger all games around Canberra AU lol. RFI charts are 3d - ie more a database than a spreadsheet. Joey's points on hands that can withstand a changing board texture & thinking ahead like chess makes a lot of sense.
