Plowing Snow With New ATV Plow Day After Storm

I bought an ATV in January so I got a plow with it there’s definitely a learning curve using a plow. I have a snowblower I use it too as well. For a quick fast job I just use the plow. We’ve had so much snow I have 18 hours and 45 km of run time on this ATV. At 20 hours you are to change the oil and the filter on this unit to keep the warranty

The driveway is full of pieces of ice so I wanted to make the driveway smoother so the plow won't hook up....this was the first time plowing the driveway

Do I hear a Newfoundlander?? ;) from one to another if so. You find the atv more trouble to plow with vs using the blower? Got a driveway similar in size, contemplating getting a plow for my atv vs using the blower all the time. The wind always blows in the direction I have to blow snow so it's always blowing the crap back in my face. No snowblower, no snow in my face lol

Yes we're newfoundlanders lol my hubby said that its worth getting a plow for the atv but said you need to get a stronger battery for the atv because the winch and plow takes alot of energy out of the battery but other than that he loves it said its the best thing he ever got .thats why he got the plow for it,he had the same problem with the snowblower lol

Is that a kolpin snowplow...who installed it for you...i have a brand new one to but got to get it put on....not much snow out here on the west coast yet...Stephenville area

yes its a kolpin and we put it together and put it on ourselves.just got to make sure the base that attachs to the quad fits right because it dont fit all quads

Using the atv for plowing make the job so much easier. You doesn't have a lot of places to put the snow.
