Thanks for the demonstration!! I always liked what I heard when I saw this plugin or especially the hardware demonstrated, but now I feel like I'm behind everyone by not having it. It's like some special sauce that it seems stupid not to have in your tool box.... The mid/side capability is the feature that puts it over the line for me. Beautiful sound!

Not only the midside but thevreq eucny dependant saturation and the control other it is imho what's makes it way ahead the first versions .... the Elysia Karakter was the only one i could fairly compare too ... since it has M/S also , both great options !!! Thks Alen , glad it helped ! The waveform is a third party plugin as well as the gonio et meter , from image line "wave candy" ;) so it can be used in any daw and costumised to taste ;) Thks for watching !!

Exact i totally forgot to show it , but even without i found this version way easier to work with thks to the new gain than the old one (i hated the old gain in %)

i would say VSM 4 and saturn 2 (witch let me taylor my own color) , those are natives , but dsp it's uad .... i find always using also elysia ones (karacter and philscade) on synth , i love it ... and of course true iron The other color box i could not do without is RC 20 from xln audio , def to color sounds ...

yep Harmonics is great but more on synth and instruments i've found , on drums i prefer others .... but it's also a superb one , the thing is that i've found it super versatyle to scult your own color , in that aspect it can in the VSM and HG 2 team !!

You can use a secondary button (Command on Mac for AUs for example) when turning the knobs. This will auto-compensate the gain.

I suggest HG2 as the best all arounder as well as karacter in PA land ... for flexible distortion work , Philscade is a littel less flexible

Love the video, but I always feel like an NFR license is slightly biased towards PA marketing.

As you can see the NFR (i explained it) is because i Beta test for them , but i buy only the plugin i use ;) and also you can see that several releases have past and i done the review on what i consider worth , always like that ;) Last thing is that in my reviews i try to show technics and tips via the plugins , not just something to get click , if it was the case i would reveiw anything out from waves softube , pa ect .... but you can check that i reveiws stuff other reviewers don't pay attention to .... brands that are not rentable for them ;) anyway i feel you 100 % , i can assure you that not only i only review plugins that i use and want to share with people but , having me in beta team is a pure headache for brands lol

All the lazy folk lookin auto gain, take note shift or command function, but in all honestly check your meters and no doubt half of these demanding lazy folk want plugins to turn their creations to finished items, which is sad in ways... Never happy always something to throw salt about...
