I really like Joel‘s idea about financial education to the employees. Thinking back when I was a employee if I would’ve been taught some house hacks it would’ve massively increase my net worth, and I may have stayed with the company for a long time. This could be a great tool for employee, attraction and retention.🤔

The gap in the marketing comes down to the plumbers responsibility to market themselves. Like a doctor, customers should follow the technician that they developed a relationship and trust with. Not the company. I’m working towards that now.

Another insightful podcast, Im a busy one truck chuck, doing everything myself and can’t escape the business. Your videos have made me realise what potential there is and that it doesn’t have to be this way. Iv recently increased my prices after listening to a few of your podcasts. Iv just received an online review basically saying workmanship very good but very expensive! How should I respond to this? Also do you do coaching for small UK businesses?

You should be expensive if your work is best. It's ok to be expensive. You don't want the budget customers, they are a pain. To those customers you will always be to expensive. After all your JUST a plumber, in their eyes.
