His job is my personal worst nightmare. Having to interview D grade actors who have no personality & are completely indiscernible from each other, who are there to promote a film or program you have never seen or heard of, or will ever watch. And he has to do this 5 days a week. He may get the occasional star who is a household name, but how often are they really engaging & thought provoking & simply entertaining? They are there for a purpose, to promote their product. they're presenting a completely artificial version of themselves, and are simply there to plug their product. So when a man of immense knowledge & education sits as the guest for the evening, it does not surprise me one iota that Stephen salivates at the prospect of interviewing someone of incredible intellect.

I reject your reality and insist upon my own. Just kidding. Events are in the saddle and ride mankind..... ....and/or we are all a simulation in some alien kid's snowglobe. I am rooting for the appearance of that weird huge dark out-of-plane elliptically orbiting planet I keep hearing about. If that thing shows up then it's just a few more stages till we have to unite to defeat the final boss of the game. Siri will help us. And Elon, and Neil.

I was actually in the middle of a Science Unit about Space as a Preschool teacher when it was announced that Pluto was not a planet anymore. Try explaining that to three and four year-olds... the best lesson from that experience was that people make mistakes, even very smart people. It is important to learn new things and share them. Also, when we have better tools, they help us to see and figure out amazing things. It’s fantastic to hear from Neil - what an outstanding teacher! 💫⭐️

Neil is one of the people, along with Bill Nye, that sparked my love of science. At this point in my life, I'm not surprised in the least that they are both (Bill being the CEO!) members of the Planetary Society, and amazing independendent speakers and presenters in their own right. I guess my point is that I grew up with the show "Bill Nye the Science Guy" and I think all kids need to grow up with a show like that.

I am very fond of Pluto. Say what you want, for me Pluto is the 9nth planet. Not cool to discriminate against Pluto. Pluto; little planet, big heart. Pluto: a rock who rocks!
