Love your guys content. If you get a chance, please make a video on chassis bracing. Currently there are no credible sources that tell us the difference in lap times after installing a strut bar, sub frame connectors, roll bar etc which all add to the stiffness of the chassis. Anyways great channel PT and DP

0:30 - The BIGGEST PLUS about the Prowler is the fact that it shares a coveted spot with the Lamborghini Countach and the Ferrari F40. The word is TIMELESS. These cars with their exotic looks are timeless. They will always stop traffic, hold people's attention and fascination whenever they're on the road regardless of the year. Someone said to me, "it's because you don't see too many of these cars on the road," but that's not entirely true. that plays a small part, but not a big part. EXAMPLE; Today, it's very rare to spot a 2005-2006 Pontiac GTO on the streets, and yet, if you saw one, you wouldn't bat an eye. Not so with the Prowler and it didn't come with the LS1-LS2 Power plant.

I never realised there where a hidden race car in the prowler. Fancy inboard suspension, transaxle layout and fairly low weight aluminium body etc. If they just had a decent 5speed manual in there to complete the weird mix ot performance design and a 90s concept car.

8:52 - Swap out the new transmission gear available for the Prowler. You can actually spin the rear tires. It adds a different personality to that car and improves your 0-60 time.

If you actually look at a Prowler, it's a front mid engine layout so weight distribution should be pretty good

The prowler is literally a extended modified PT cruiser.

Prowler came out in 97 Pt Cruiser came out in 2001 Just about the only part that's interchangable between the 2 is the oil filter

I worked at a Starbucks in college around 2003-2004 and used to see one of the local ambulance chaser lawyers drive in there on Saturday mornings in his yellow Prowler, and always order his triple-venti heavy cream caramel machiatto. Little known fact I still remember from reading about this car in Motor Trend when it first came out: the Prowler was the first production car to have 20-inch wheels and tires.

I’ve been working at dodge dealerships for 18 years now, one of these will come in every now and then. Love the look but that 3.5 engine is such an over complicated boat engine I hate it. That being said, there weren’t a lot of other v6 options at the time.
