Cool idea! IMHO: I would stick an abrasive tape on the stops to securely attach the workpiece. Take care of your fingers!

This tape only for secure, i not show all process on video, i give epoxy glue and nails gun for secure and assemble. Thank very much for all correction👍🏻👍🏻

Why tracing a FULL ligne with the pencil, every time, then using a saw guide or a trimmer guide. One or two POINTS are sufficient.
