Very nice overview! I'm starting to plan out my g0704 conversion. So far I'm setting stuff up on a plywood project board to test stuff out, but it won't be too long until I need to start laying out an enclosure. Thanks again!

Hi Paul Thank you, well this layout will work fine really for any mill or lathe. You might have different drives or power supplies but the basic operation and wiring will be about the same. I'm going to break down the wiring into segments so it should be easy to adapt to any configuration.

Excellent video Sam,. Reminds me of the days I wired printing press panels many years ago..

+Glenn Martin Yea not much has changed a little less relays and a PLC here or there but the concept is still the same.

DAMN! That's a great looking panel man. Makes me want to skip that part of my G0602 series.... Mine is seriously bush-league.

Thanks Rus I really wanted to spruce this build up some. I've done cheap with the G0602 so for this build I'm going more commercial. Besides this is my last CNC build............hopefully. 😄

Are you using 220 singe phase coming in to supply this cabinet? 110?
@terrigeyer23409 жыл бұрын
+Russ Geyer opps jus read your list of parts
@CNC4XR79 жыл бұрын
I'm sort of mimicking a Tormach 770 so the cabinet will be powered by 110. This can easily be wire for a 220 vfd and bigger motor. I just happened to pick up these on deals I found.

What kind of fuses are you going to use for the 110 v circuits? I am assuming they will be ceramic 10x38 quick blow fuses? Also are the fuse holder you have are the ones with blown fuse indication? Keep these wiring videos coming. I had not really given much thought to the 110v wiring aspects of CNC builds.

Yes they are these are some I had. I may be switching to circuit breakers latter the cost of the fuses are not cheap you can find circuit breakers for $7 like these www.factorymation.com/s.nl/it.A/id.5663/.f

do you have a printable copy of your wiring diagram? What is the brand and source of the terminal strips and wiring raceways?
@CNC4XR79 жыл бұрын
+John McKenna Hi john Yes there is a link in all of the wiring video descriptions to a drop box link for the wiring. I also listed parts and I think I listed where to get the terminals. On at least one. There Dinkle 1.5 I think. I got them off EBay but the seller has a website.
