A shame that it doesn't cause a Game Over everywhere, otherwise you could time it so that Lucky's rage causes Rougeport to explode and everyone dies all because Mario cheated.

I wonder how the game's pointers and values and stuff are messed up to 1) not trigger a Game Over when the timer reaches 0 2) triggers one when Mario re-enters the Tree unless the game has moved forward 3) resets to 100 seconds and not 300 seconds when you quit/lose and come back to the game.

Is it possible to make it into the spike room with some seconds on the timer? Would it then cause a game over as if the spiked ceiling timer had hit zero?
