I have played this game, it was several years ago but I did cry. very little things make me cry. This was one of them the second thing that made me cry Was the Nina, Alexander scenes from both FMA, and FMA:B

The end of this game is magical. Nintendo pulled through when delivering character devolopment, (something they aren't very good at usually), in a Pokemon game of all things. By the end you feel so attached to your partner that the game makes you feel the emotions the characters are feeling, the same is done in the manaphy scene. This is why Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky is and shall remain the greatest game ever made

the worst part is that the music literally only gets sadder from here. This game deserves an award for music alone. The way the music tells the story all by itself is amazing. By the time you get to the credits and you're balling your eyes out, then all of sudden it bursts into the epic credit music, it's like the game demands a standing ovation, and boy do i want to give it one!

I'm just hoping they continue with the Mystery Dungeon series, Gates to Infinity wasn't horrible but I'm afraid enough people disliked it that they might not make anymore. I sure hope not, even if I never play another Pokemon game, Mystery Dungeon will always be my favorite. Though I would absolutely love to see Guildmaster Wigglytuff again, he should be in every game. Playing Blue Rescue Team and Gates to Infinity I forgot that he was only part of the Explorers games XD (Quagsire is a total Wigglytuff wannabe though)

Sadly, this masterpiece of a game is underrated, and it always will be underrated thanks to those main series only fucks. They even compained when Super mystery dungeon was announced, but it doesn't matter. Very few people got the chance to play this gem, and I'm happy I was one of them. this is why PMD Explorers was a great trio, now one might argue that its just like the rest, that all it is is a dungeon crawler. that it has been redone over and over. although at face value that might be the case. to us it isn't, those who completed sky darkness and time could tell you its not like the other mystery dungeons. and they would all share the same thought, it grew you very close to your partner. the other installments might make you like your partner but this one was the most well done. and at the end when they took you away from your friend... even if you didn't cry like i did and most others you at least felt something when he/she was gone, you ended up feeling some sense of loneliness. no other mystery dungeon has replicated this feeling and in my eyes if a game can make you feel like your partner is some sort of best friend or family to ya. it ends up being a great game in my eyes and will always have replay value. bye alex the eevee you will always have a place in my heart!

This is how I feel at the end of both mystery dungeon rescue team and Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky I was so attached to my partner through all our hardships. I didn't want it to end... I've cried for every single one of the MD games. With Blue Rescue Team me and my sister sat there crying together as we finished the game. Then with this game not only is the music but what's even sadder is its the only game where character actually dies, i mean they're erased from existence! there's no happy thought, hey they're out there somewhere, from now until the credits you're really and truly gone and that's devastating. I wasn't really gonna be sad in Gates to Infinity (it was kind of a drill by that point, you know) but i really started tearing up when Hydreigon said your friends won't remember you, and while some people don't like the Frism scene it had me in tears when your partner looks up it broke me. And then the most heart breaking part of all? You don't come back. I started up the post-ending as my partner and had never felt so horrible. Too bad the post-ending turned out to be so pathetic I'm tempted to say no when it asks you to come back (though the music for that scene is super awesome)

Awesome Music... I can remember as it was yesterday. I was in vacation in France and played this game for the travel time in the car... I was like.. 15 or 16 and one evening I beat the game. And the scene was so sad, I cried from the "Goodbye-Moment" and was still crying after the credits. I shut down My DS after the credits before the game saved... Watched it again and cryied again...
