I'm not afraid to admit that I cry whenever I get to the end of any of these games...I mean the music's just perfect, and the emotion is very strong. When I first played the original I didn't really know what to expect. The game-play was a lot of fun and I kept thinking of just how good of a story it had, and when I got to the end, I was crying my eyes out. In fact, I've seen tons of great death scenes and very few brought me to tears, including anime, each of these are easily my top fives. Long live PMD!!!!

This was just about the only game to get to me. This is still one of the most touching emotional experiences in gaming if you ask me. I'm amazed at how gradually you see your partner grow from a helpless wreck to a hero who stood against the physical embodiment of time itself, the slow growth, from getting your help to recover the relic fragment, facing drowzee, jumping through a waterfall, fighting a hologram of the earth God. Braving quicksand, a broken world, and ultimately having to nobly continue the quest after a beloved ally said his goodbye. All this, to have his true friend torn away from him... Makes this one of the perfect emotional bonds there is in gaming today.

So beautiful...So emotional...:,) That reminds me of all the times I played the game and reached this point...In every PMD game... Losing someone you like very much always hurts a lot. In 2006 I lost my grandpa and I really loved him. It took me at least six months to get over it. I still remember that a few days after his burial I had a dream where I met him again. Then I woke up and realized that it was just a dream...But live continues and he would have wanted me to keep going my way. I know that he'd be very proud of me if he was still alive... However, I still remember how sad I was when he died. And when you have to leave your partner behind in the PMD games it's the same kind of situation, even if no one dies.

My character is a treecko and my partner is a charmander... When I finished the game, my partner was crying as my character slowly faded away... My character spoke for the first time in the game... Saying that he had a great time with my partner and he too cried as he knew he is dying, fading away. As he finally faded away in a golden mist... My partner left, and as his view of the tower slowly shrinks, he said that he was going away from my character... He went home and told everyone of what had happened... and he just fell to his knees. A few months had past and he decided to take a stroll on the beach... he then started to remember where he met my character and the good times with my character... He just bursted into tears and lay sobbing in the sandy floor... Bidoof came by and saw him... he continued crying... and credit rolled... I... Cried... Like a total... Bitch... Saddest... Ending... I have ever... fucking seen...

The only thing that made me happy tho is when my dialga heard my partners cries and sorrow and brought my character back... But it still hasnt change the fact that that part made me cry even more from joy and feels

so far every pmd game ive played has made me cry my eyes out, and ive replayed a lot of my games and did not finish it because dialga is rly hard to beat when you're a normal type... and also because of this ending... god i literally cry every time

the only other death scenes that ever really got to me were *spoilers* Hughes from FMA and Gabriel from Supernatural *spoilers*. But as sad as they were, they don't even come close to this. Loved the shinx and vulpix parts as that was my team.

Yeah,PMD is one of the best games in my opinion,look,even riolu fell in love with it's partner "vulpix" and when you have to go... Your freind gets heartbroken. I'm sure that if you WERE that riolu,you would never stop crying,and when you decide to stay...YOU would actually say to "vulpix"...VULPIX,I LOVE YOU. Josue A. Cativo I didn't even need to pretend that I was that Pokemon, I was sobbing like insane from the fact that I'd have to leave Vulpix behind!! I felt like the Shinx I played wasn't just some pixels, that were colored and put in order by some software! That was me! A Pokemon that held the definition of my very being along with all my emotions! And yes! Throughout this adventure I actually fell in love with a fictional character...

This game...I can sit and stare at horrible things in other games and not care...and only certain games make me feel whenever I see those scenes...this game in one of those certain games. This and Paper Mario So far have been the only ones to make me feel sad, incredibly happy (unless challenging), or Incredibly annoyed (unless Multiplayer. HATE multiplayer ;-;)

Youta Akiro I’m sure they did, and it shows. Not one of these drawings are even close to the worst quality I’ve seen. Your drawing can look good while still being silly as hell, though. Some of them are just trying too hard to look emotional/dramatic. Not only are 80% of the characters just awkwardly looking at each other and crying, sometimes there’s some blood in there for some extra edge. Even though PMD’s ending IS sad, it’s too much, and that’s why I’m giggling at some of these. They’re _Pokémon_ , and personally, I can’t take them THAT seriously. Of course not every piece in this video is like that. Every pic that wasn’t trying _too_ hard was very cute, and the artists did a nice job. Didn’t mean to rant so long, but I felt like my first comment didn’t elaborate enough, so there ya go :\

In the game you die and you have to leave your partner behind. To me this is the most crushing moment that the game is having to say goodbye to apartment you end up becoming very attached to. To me it's still one of the most inspiring moments of Pokemon history as well as one of the most crushing
