4K but your screen is 1080p, still correct? How do you see 4K then? Wonder if it makes any difference, how HD can it get?

editing programs can make things 4k like I make 1080p videos but I only have 768p

It makes no difference, even though the editing program upscales it, it doesnt have the effect of 4k

Michaelc136 My GTX 970 allows me to use DSR. I would stay away from upscaling in the editor.

hawaiidispenser In a way! I'm using nVidia DSR with my GTX 970 in conjunction with my 1080p display. I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm simply upscaling 1080p footage in the video editor to 4k though. That would be silly. I'm working on a video talking a little about DSR with FSX/P3D so that'll be a bit better as far as discussing the specifics. Thanks for watching!

Jon5700 Same here but running FSX on an SSD doesn't make FSX faster, it only loads the game faster when starting up :)

Great Video & Great PC Specs but this is very far from 4K its @ 1080p at the most, even if u have a 4K GPU , FSX,P3D will not Produce 4K Flight Simming Bcause FSX & P3D is not 4K Compatible, you only recorded in an upscale to 4K so just get the facts right before u post something in 4K but it really isn't its a shame but good try though better luck next time, Let me know when FSX & P3D is running in 4K il be waiting a very long time :)

Neither will ever see 4k max texture res is 1024 and FSX doesn't upscale natively. It comes down to the 9yr old engine and I could be wrong but I think with p3d running directx 11 you get better AA and other post processing stuff. Pretty sure max texture res for p3d was also 1024.
