This is way better than the Nikko Vaporizr, which just floats on the water and moves slowly through it. The Traxxas X-MAXX drives ON the water. It nearly hovers above it.

The X Maxx 8s is my first RC car. Some people say I started off wrong. I guess I should have started off driving a Toyota truck and working my way up to a semi by their theory also. If you want to learn just jump in...you’ll probably save yourself some money also.

Hi Jonathan. Each tire has a foam insert in it, but they don't have enough buoyancy to keep the truck afloat. The truck is way too heavy for that. Thats why Damron put the pool noodles under the body. That way, if the truck stops it doesn't sink to the bottom of the pond.. Thanks for commenting!
