Why would you apply wax before using the cleaner? Wouldn't the cleaner remove the wax?

I've been hearing lemon oil is bad for the fretboard in the long run. I keep hearing to use F one oil instead. I'm confused and maybe people are talking about regular lemon oil and not guitar brand I don't know.

Yes, they are talking about regular lemon oil. You can find also 1% of people that are talking about guitar lemon oil...but you can always find 1% of people with bizzare opinions about everything you can image and more.

if fretboard cleaner/hydrate get on headstock , can it damage finish? i think i have some stripes now after i applied and cleaner headstock with fretboard cleaner...but i dont understad how they would appear..

Am I the only one that thinks it makes no sense that "clean" is step 3? Why would clean not be step 1?? Don't you want to clean off gunk before you polish? I mean he literally says in the video that the restore one cleans and the clean one restores. And I don't blame him; it's the only way to make sense of it. Those two got flip flopped.
