Go back to Konquest, back on Earthrealm and the Wu Shi academy - you have to do a long combo, and that's where the story mode continues with old man Shujinko. I don't know what happens after here because 12 year old me couldn't do the combo :(

except shujinko never killed onaga because hes in armageddon and shujinko is also there so raiden didnt kill him either

He actually beats him, but Onaga jumps from Reptiles body before dying. It's in his Armageddon bio online somewhere.

@@AwesomeNinjaXD Reptile's return in armageddon is just one of the many unexplained resurrections in that game. Because of that "every character has to back" thing

@@Nemesis_T-Type Yeah, but it kind of breaks the story. And don't even get me started on how Shao Kahn comes back if Shujinko beats Onaga. And I'm still not entirely sure how people like Sonya and everyone else came back if they were supposed to be murdered by the Deadly Alliance. Both Deception and Armageddon have massive inconsistencies in their stories.

Actually those examples you listed were one of the few resurrections that were explained. Shao Kahn was never killed by the deadly alliance, he left a body double and went into hiding because he knew Onaga was returning and there was no way he could defeat him alone, so he basically left the trouble to be dealt by someone else and returned once Onaga was beaten and Quan Chi and Shang Tsung were properly dead. As for Sonya, Cage, Kung Lao, etc. it is explained in Deception that Onaga added the deceased Earthrealm warriors to his Immortal Army (so he could revive them again and again under his control), and once he was killed by Shujinko they were then freed of his mind control. But many go on unexplained, like Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Hsu Hao, Reptile, Sheeva, Motaro, Kia, Jataaka, etc. Which is funny, because they took the time to explain how a character like Jarek survived but not those major ones.
