I found the worst aspect of pneumonia was my inability to breathe normally due to the infected mucus in my lungs. Terrifying sensation. Couldn't sleep for 3 days because lying down made me feel as if I was suffocating. Thankfully the antibiotics do eventually relieve this aspects of pneumonia quite quickly. One silver lining is that the experience has finally given me the will I needed to quit smoking.

Omg I’m 29 years old as well. I first got Covid and then I got Covid-pneumonia which ultimately led to clots on my lungs 🤦‍♀️ I feel your pain. I was hospitalized for a week and I’ve dealt with this for 2 months now. This is a pain. The coughing is the worst for it leads to vomiting (you’re so right). I pray you get better ❤️‍🩹. Thank you for this video. I had Pneumonia last week due to Covid-19 and it was tagged as Severe Pneumonia. I have SOB/DOB and i was hooked to oxygen at 6 Liters per minute asap. My O2 saturation fell 82% which is not normal. Now I am recovering at home and was discharged after all the medications and treatments. Yep just went through this very debilitating and frustrating could not sleep for three days due to coughing up phlegm. Make sure you get to Dr asap and get antibiotics as I left my illness two long. I can see how you could easily die from this even though I am relatively healthy

I came down with pneumonia in Dutch Harbor Alaska putting me in bed for 3 weeks. not long after that I went back to Seattle. after doing some research I found that Anise has been used in many civilizations for thousands of years. I make a strong tea: 1/2 cup Anise, 2 cinnamon sticks, & 1 can cranberry sauce. I put all of this directly into a 10 cup coffee pot and brew a full pot of water. I wait until the Anise seeds are soft enough to chew then run through a sieve. this is good to serve to a group if people are coming down with a chest flu to safely treat everyone at the same time. I was told that I would be susceptible to lung infections for the rest of my life. that was true up to about 2 years ago. every time I got sick and was alone I would make a cup of boiling water and place about 1/2 ounce of Anise seed into the cup and wait about ten minuets to drink.

I was in the hospital with this for 10 days. They had to put a tube in my chest to drain the fluid. About 2 and a half liters. They discharged me 2 weeks ago but I'm still have some fluid left and struggling with shortness of breath and chest pains. But it's going away slowly but surely.

I had pneumonia twice in the same year and I had just been coughing for some weeks, but I don’t remember how many. After I had a fever two nights in a row, we went to the hospital, but not the ER. By the time we got there, my fever had gone down, but we still did an X-ray for my lungs. Turns out I had pneumonia. There were a couple dots that showed evidence of this. I got regular penicillin except in liquid form as medication, and we went home. I took my penicillin as directed but continued my regular activities(I don’t remember if I continued going to school while having this illness) I do remember taking it easier at first, then getting more and more back to regular in my daily activities. I never had trouble breathing, just the coughing and fevers. Soon, everything went back to normal. Later in the year, I started coughing again and after a little while, we went to a doctor, just a regular office. The first time the doctor said I had pollen allergies and sent my aunt and I home with the names of some medicine to help with my “allergy”. After a while of this medicine not helping, we went back to the doctor’s office and saw my regular doctor, who said I had walking pneumonia. We went to a pharmacy to get an inhaler to help cure my pneumonia. The inhaler worked, and I am wondering when I will get pneumonia again in my life.

I was just diagnosed with pneumonia today. I've never had it before and the doctor acted like it was no big deal. He didnt do s blood test so idk if its viral or bacterial. He gave me antibiotics and just said if its viral those won't work that's all he said. My fever has went up s little and I am chilling and freezing. @Mark Jones awe I'm sorry. It sucks really bad. Make sure they give you steroids and an inhaler with albuterol in it. The inhaler helps. Or you can have your doctor do a breathing treatment that helped me so much at the ER. The nurse also told me you can do breathing exercises by deep breaths in and out , holding it. I'm still coughing up and get out of breath easy but also my vitamin d was low from fighting the infection. So supplements help as well. Zinc, vitamin C,A and D. I hope you recovery soon as well and pray for all of those infected with the coronavirus as this is way worse than regular pnemonia. It makes me feel lu ky to have overcome the pnemonia almost. !
