The more choices we have, the more difficultly we choose. It is called the paradox of choice. Even after we made a decision, the rate of satisfaction towards our choice stays in a low level. Therefore, I try to choose based on my first impression. It's a five-second rule and a good solution to be satisfied with my choice.

Sharp delivery Brian. I would love to know how many times do you record a video until you are satisfied with it :)

ewwbananaagain Thank you! I record every video once. :) That's part of my creative challenge. No re-takes and no edits--forces me to trust myself and just let it rip. Every once in awhile I'll totally flub something and re-start after a couple minutes but that's the exception!

First off, Thanks again for uploading your videos. Enjoy them quite alot so Kudos! 2nd, I only understood the paradox on the first and 3rd segment. Where exactly is the paradox on the other three? And also, Isn't it also kind of a paradox/dillema of having to choose between so many great self help books? ;) How much is too much from your prespective?
@HeroicBrian

yair1010 Thank you! The other Ideas were just helpful Ideas from the book--not paradoxes in and of themselves! And nice question re: books! lol. I think it's all in how you approach it. I like to make it a fun game of optimizing exploration rather than a need to maximize!

that´s why a disabled person do much more things than a regular person. if they can do 100 things, they will do it all. But a regular person is able to do 10000000000 things but can´t choose, so don´t do anything.

The only thing wrong with the word/concept 'more' is that it is never 'enough'

A good technique is to always compare yourself to people who have It worst than like a little boy in Africa who has to walk 5 miles with no shoes just to get some water.

i disagree with number 5. constantly comparing yourself with other people will actually make you feel happier if it happens that most of those people are less fortunate than you
