I love this! I am really looking forward to the next video. It would be great to see what tactics used to hunt/ scout. I came from the East coast where I’ve only ever hunted on private land in a deer stand. This is my first year living in Washington and trying to understand how to hunt out here on public land is a bit intimidating. I see a lot of hunts on KZbin in Easter Washington but not much in western. With the thick forests here how do people scout and hunt? You can’t just glass on any hill side and see a full open valley. Do people use tree stands, ground blinds or do they just sit on a log and wait? Do people go walking through the woods hoping they will spook something? These are the things I am interested in. Keep of the great work! Also, I noticed that people might not be interacting with these videos as much. Please don’t let that discourage you from making more content like this. It helps so many people!

Completely new to hunting and I’m picking up the bow to start. Still a little confused on if we need special tags or the tags you purchased in the first video will be just fine. Looking to go after elk one day and don’t want to miss out on opportunities, please help! Love the content!

As a new hunter, I'm worried about getting lucky on something really special and totally blowing it. Do you think a newer hunter should apply for coveted tags in WA like a bull elk, goat, sheep? What are some "safe" options for someone who might not know a lot yet?
@PNWild7 ай бұрын
Honest opinion man, apply for everything you can afford and if you’re lucky enough to draw go on the sure to be an amazing adventure. We all look back and say if I would have done this…. You’ll never regret making amazing memories.

If you feel you are not ready for a big hunt or a once in a lifetime hunt like Moose, goat, sheep. You can always submit for points SAVER only. That way you are still building up your points every single year. So if you feel like you may not have the proper gear yet. Or the ability to take time off work to put the time in to fill the tag. Just submit for Points SAVER. But just like PNWild said... You will still have the best time just doing it.

Lol 😂😂 you drop this video on the last day we are allowed to send in for Special Hunt Tags.. Technically it was May 15th. But they extended it to the May 22nd. Well at least people know how to do it for next year.

That was the goal, better late than never and yeah it’ll live on KZbin for years to come and hopefully help future hunters 🙏🏼

Thanks for sharing this with us. Washington seems to get a bad rap and most hunting KZbin channels who talk about applying in the different western states don’t even bother with the PNW states of Washington and Oregon. Mainly because of the location because most non residents from the east or Midwest would have to drive through 2-3 states that also have quality elk and deer 🦌 hunts. The other being the bad draw odds. But from what I gather there are opportunities there of a variety of levels one just has to do their research 🧐
