can these vids help with 2024 exams?
@adapttuition Жыл бұрын
Hi Salena, Yes, these videos can most certainly help with the 2024 exams based on: 1.) I used 12 years of csec PoA past papers to create these questions, and 2.)The questions repeat very, very often. Unless the examining body actually creates and uses new questions on the P1s, then these videos coupled with practicing from at least 5 years of actual P1s will definitely help

Hi 😊 the question asks about current liabilities and in C the mortgage is a non-current liability.

can you explain what is accrued revenue please
@adapttuition4 жыл бұрын
Accrued revenue is essentially where one company provides a good/service to a customer but the customer doesn't pay right away (promises to pay in the future). So the company has earned the revenue but hasn't collected it; this is accrued revenue. It's essentially the same as "Debtors" or "Accounts Receivable" Hope this helps.

I know i'm a bit late but how or why do you consider Cash at Bank to be more liquid than cash at hand...i'm just very curious and love to ask questions😊
@adapttuition4 жыл бұрын
Good question! Cash at bank can be more liquid than cash in hand in the sense that cash at bank can be transferred via internet banking to different parts of the country or the world whereas cash in hand cannot be, or at least not as quickly. In fact it would either have to be deposited in the bank in order to be transferred overseas or you'd have to use a money transfer service. Another example is where you don't have cash on hand but you can make a payment using internet banking assuming you have a mobile device and a good internet signal. It's more convenient than having to go get physical cash to facilitate the transaction. So that's my take on how cash in bank can technically be more liquid than cash in hand. It's easier to "move" in certain circumstances. Thanks for your question, I hope I have explained properly for you to understand where I'm coming from.
@shamaricyrus65174 жыл бұрын
@@adapttuition yes thank you this was quite helpful, but i guess we may just have to stick to what the books says for now .
@astongraham24524 жыл бұрын
Cash in hand is more liquid than cash at bank....liquidity means how quick the asset can be converted to cash. Cash in hand is already cash in ready state but cash at bank is more permanent than cash in hand since it takes a longer time to convert the cash at bank to cash....you take a longer process to access the cash at bank than the cash in hand

@@adapttuition indeed I am, they are very informative and helpful. You are doing an amazing job with the content. Especially as an individual from the Caribbean whose helping other islanders with the comprehension of poa, for many find it difficult and most have a hard time understanding it based on the way it is taught by other tutors.

I appreciate that a lot. Thank you 😊 It’s my pleasure to help. I am very aware of the issues that students face and that’s actually why I started this channel: to provide a place for ppl who don’t understand PoA to go to get help 😊 And thankfully it seems to be working.

Thank you sir. Where can I access the 2019 paper? This video was very helpful
@adapttuition4 жыл бұрын
That's a tough question to answer. This examining body is stingy and guarded with their MCQ papers. I'm sure they're out there somewhere. Let me know if you find them.
