The blue texture pack is NOT x-ray, its like those texture packs which change the ore colours (rekrap used one and I don’t think you complained on that video), and if the removed lava fog was considered x-ray, than tons of servers would have to deal with tons of players doing so, especially pvp servers.

Using a texture pack to literally see through blocks is most definitely cheating, it makes the challenge significantly easier and defeats the whole purpose. It's like winning a marathon by taking a train to the finish line. You are being extreme and very unreasonable.

It has been 4 days since this video was released and there is a high chance no one will see this comment but I will write it anyway. I came to this video excited, and my excitement would lower everytime he activated a resource pack or did something that was just plain Minecraft, I was pretty set at some point on finishing the video, disliking and leaving. He did claim to complete a record (making a netherite beacon in 100 days) Also, I agree that people should play the way they want to, but he should have been upfront about x-raying at the very start of the video, and probably in the title too. Waiting until a very decent amount of time into the video to tell the audience that he was x-raying while not adjusting the title/intro to reflect this is just plain clickbait When (most) people click on a Minecraft video, they expect the creator to be playing vanilla or something close (optifine, litematica, etc), or for the alterations to the game to be very obvious from the start (essentially any heavily game-altering mod). This is especially true when the creator claims to have completed a huge accomplishment, only to later reveal the use of what many people would consider cheats to make this accomplishment far easier. Poafa didn't necessarily have to not x-ray in this video, but it should have at least been made clear that he was going to way sooner

i think you could’ve made a simple Smelter, put Item into a Double Chest that splits the Items into multiple Blast Furnaces, it would save you so much time. you can make multiple and it would be a great time saver

Different people might draw the line at what "cheating" is, but I think x-raying pretty clearly falls into that category, even if it's "just for entertainment"
