Tim, nice to see this update on the K&F filters! Props to them for replacing their newer slimmer models to those who previously purchased them. Always so informative and insightful! I think the 1/8 strength will be a good addition to the Pocket 3 as well! I'm starting to get the itch to post, so hopefully I'll get to it soon. Your video was definitely motivating me my friend!

Hey Adam! I'm definitely missing your videos! I was just about to reach out to see if you went on your trip to Japan yet and to see how you were since it's been a while since you last posted. Yes, the K&F thin filters are great, as long as you get the right one. I think they have or had a QC issue but glad they are willing to correct it. Very easy to recommend otherwise. I didn't expect the gimbal to close during my video and get stuck but I'm glad it did so I could show the issue. I also found when I was doing my affiliate links that they have a 1/2 strength filter and some bundles as well so I'm kind of curious about that one, even though I'm not sure how useful it would be for me.

Removing these filters from lens is a PITA. I’m afraid that I may damage the gimbal. Is there any easy way ?

@@rcmanoj I agree 100% I usually turn the camera off and use two hands and fingernails while the gimbal motors are not engaged. So far, there is no great way to do this. Honestly, I try to avoid having to change them while I'm shooting so I plan ahead and put the one on I need. Honestly if I feel like I'm going to have to change them a few times because of changing lighting scenes (like going indoors to outdoors and back) I skip them altogether for casual shooting. The image quality may suffer a bit, but it's not worth being frustrated. Perhaps an engineer will invent a magnetic ND puller that will help with this in the future. I would be the first to make a video on that product!

Thanks for watching! I think K&F has a QC issue but at least they're willing to fix issues when they occur. Maybe it was just them trying to get the products out quickly to follow the hype.

You can, but I don't prefer it. If you want mist and ND, I would recommend the Freewell mist vnd's which are all in one. amzn.to/3XM3WsL

I think that I heard a reviewer say that they don't, but if you're interested in taking a look at those and a second opinion, check out this guy's video and channel. He really likes them. I think it's a good strength. Personal preference if it's too much in which case return it for the 1/8. I think the 1/2 would be too strong for most situations unless you want a super dreamy scene like in fog.
