Hi 👋Enjoyed the video very much, thank you. As a Fountain Pen user for many years, some clarification regarding the blowing up when flying thing.. This was much more of an issue back in the day of early flights, with big difference in cabin pressure. Today's planes have much more stable and controlled cabin pressure, so the issue got minimized and sometimes eliminated completely. Few tips that can make sure this won't happened; Place the pen upright with the nib facing up during the flight. Make sure you have as much ink filled, sometimes air gap can expand and push ink out. Don't write with a fountain pen during the flight.. at list not for a long time, short notes will not be an issue. In any case, keep up the great work.

27:20 Horse butt leather is called Shell Cordovan and is pretty expensive. They carved a channel to stitch it not because the leather is thick, but to make the thread sit flush with the leather and not stick out and rub against your pocket and wear out. Just a small note from a leathercrafter.

fountain pens occasionally have issues flying. In flight they will often burp. You can grab a TWSBI vac 700r for that it seals off and won't have issues

I’m sure you probably already know - but the Kaweco Sports - AL aluminum, or Bronze, or Steel or Plastic - make really good edc fountain pens. The Kaweco AL Sport Anthracite or Brass would probably be your style. EDIT: just looked up that Big Idea Design fountain pen - really cool. lol love how it uses Kaweco nibs and cartridges. My one complaint is that the BID pen doesn’t seem to have a screw on cap which the Kaweco sports have. I’d have ink all in my pockets lol.
