Pocket knife refurbishing from WW2 is a challenging project to do without any power tools. In this refurbishing video I will show you how I refurbished this WW2 pocket knife and made a new wooden handle from olive tree (it came out gorgeous). This WW2 pocket knife is produced in Solingen in Germany. One of the knife’s blade has a mark “G.M429221”, second one a “barrel brand” which means it is produced in 1934. And third and last one is marked with “magnetic”.
The handle was in terrible shape (looks like a rotten paper) and I had to make a new one. Since this is a knife used by military it deserves special handle. So, I made a beautiful wooden handle from olive tree. I had to replace metal pins with brass one and fixed broken smaller blade. Overall, this pocket knife refurbishing from WW2 was very successful. I am happy that I restored and saved this pocket knife…
