You made a very lovely useful knife! And please don't be self conscious of your voice..you speak fantastic, and it will become more natural to you as you go. Well done my friend!

i restored a folding knife made in the 1950's...gave back to guy he was like...he said it looks liker the day he stole it from the hardware store as a kid

Excellent restoration but this knife has a weakness and it's at the hilt or finger guard on the tang. The tang itself is made of weak metal and will break if pressure is placed around the guard. Better to have a full tang for this kind of knife or a thicker stronger tang.

Mucha suerte, colega.

Dobrý deň prajem. Veľmi pekne máte zariadenú dielňu. Veľmi sa mi páčia Vaše mechanické stroje , keď si predstavím že naši starí rodičia takýmito náradím robili všetko tiež kedysi... Veľmi pekne videá robíte 👍 . Prajem veľa šťastia.

The original version was junk, I got ahold of a pilot’s knife in Vietnam and using it as a utility knife the blade broke at the guard within a week, I still had my Fighting Knife which was made by Camillus but was the same style as the K Bar and the blade was also sharp on the clip side. I still have it and still use it for utility work when camping. I understand that the short knives were notorious for breaking at the guard because they are really weak because they are very thin in that area.

Nice clean up, but unfortunately that blade is way too worn down for my liking.
