an eraser will help get the glue over bits on pockets and such so ive learned from crafting

I love this series..the last journal I worked so long on for a friend, as a gift, they loved but said they would not want to ruin it by writing on the pages, so i might try adding thing like this that are pretty and useful.

I just use water or rubbing alcohol 70% to get the glues off my scissors. Water for washable glues, pva, and alcohol for anything else if had my poor shears in, lol. I have the fiskars shear sharpening thing, it works great.

I use alcohol swabs to clean my scissors. It takes off everything and you dont have to use an emery board or knife to get those little pesky pieces off. It leaves the scissors quite clean and free of litter. lol

Every time you use a full page my result is a diminutive copy because of the difference in paper sizes. I have Thumbelina’s collection of pockets I think.😆 I might just order some A4 to keep on hand for times like this . Makes me have to think too much. Then I have to lie down!

Such a pretty journal! I have noticed that your cheesecloth is very stiff and dense, is that the norm in your area? Here in Ontario, Canada ours is very loosely woven almost looks like a spider web. If you pulled on it like you are able to do ours would just come apart completely. I love using it as well but it looks so different from yours. If you are unfamiliar with our type I'd be happy to send you some. There is oodles in one package.

I’m supposed to be doing my laundry but can’t stop watching your videos. 🤣. I love this pocket idea. Gi, is the inker pad you’re using one of those made for alcohol inks? I’ve looked on line and the only ones that look like yours are that kind. I like how it doesn’t leave “circles” when you ink backgrounds. 🥰

LOL.... Thank you Kathryn. My blender is really old. I think they are mostly round now but if you can get one I would. I Love mine. I had a lot of problems with the pads, they kept falling apart. So I made my own pad with sticky felt pads. I find they are reaaly good and last so much longer than the pads that you buy. Hope that helps, Hugs GI x
