This is a great country rock band formed in 1968 with some former members of Buffalo Springfield. "Crazy Love" was one of their biggest hits. But other good ones were "You Better Think Twice", "Heart Of The Night", "Pickin' Up The Pieces", "Call It Love", "Rose Of Cimarron", "Bad Weather", "Keep On Tryin'" etc

R.I.P. Randy Meisner who passed away this week. Founding member of Poco. Left Poco before this was recorded to join The Eagles where he did lead vocals on several of their biggest hits. Poco toured the U.S. in the Summer of 1970. Their opening act was an up and coming artist by the name of Elton John.

I dont know anybody who doesnt like this song. So many great musicians in Poco. Randy Meisner, RIP, and Timothy Schmidt became Eagles, though not at the same time. Richie Furay and Jim Messina, formerly of Buffalo Springfield. Furay went on to be in a few other bands and Messina eventually paired with Kenny Loggins. So much talent you'd of thought they should've had 10-15 hits.

POCO was a real underrated LA band, kind of The Eagles for poor people, but great, first bass player Randy Meisner and the second one Timothy B Schmit later, moved finally to The Eagles as the successor of Meisner in the Eagles.

From the 1978 album,"Legend", this was Poco' s biggest hit and their first tune to break the Top 40's. The beautiful harmonies are so perfect, the guitars so sweet and the lyrics voicing an undying ❤️ love. Such a wonderful song. Written and sung by Rusty Young, a timeless gem. Early Poco was the farm team for The Eagles with early members in Randy Meisner and Timothy B Schmit. Also Jim Messina from Loggins and Messina was a founding member. Such talent. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Imadrummin 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

If fact, One Horse Blue did a song titled "One Horse Blue" which is much better than the written and sung Poco version. With all the great singers that had been in Poco, it wasn't until their 9th album that Rusty Young sang lead on a song (although he'd written several, usually sung by Timothy B. Schmit). Once Poco was down to a duo (with side members) Rusty and Paul Cotton shared all the lead vocals, with Rusty singing "Crazy Love" and "Call It Love." Great reaction, Harri! Check out "Call It Love."
