I am really happy you spoke of the negatives because people just see a high end phone for a budget price and think its the best deal ever not knowing there are things the company has to omit (certain specs) or add in (push ads) to meet that price point. For the price that Xiaomi are charging for the 'Poco F2 Pro' in Europe, the 'Zoom Edition' is what we should be getting, not the standard edition. It was bad enough trying (and failing) to get a 'Mi 9T Pro' anywhere in Europe, never mind at a decent price. At this price (more for the 256gb version) I'm probably going to look elsewhere for a new phone.

Thanks for the objective review. This was one of the reviews I watched when deciding to buy the international version for use here in the US. I did some research and thankfully it supports a number of AT&T bands such that it can be used here. I bought the phone and agree with pretty much everything you say. A lot of the nuisance bloat/behavior can be easily uninstalled/disabled, but this does take some research. One thing you didn't mention is the aggressive battery saver behavior that also requires some tweaks to get the most out of widgets. As far as the lack of wireless, I added a USB-C wireless receiver pad and voila, I have wireless charging. Hopefully, this phone will be getting Android 11 soon and I'll be good for the next couple of years.

Having the Samsung galaxy S20 I honestly didn't see the big deal with the 120hz display... especially when it helps eat battery life so had to disable it pretty quickly to help get through the day! Thinking on selling my S20 for this or OnePlus 8 or Nord. Even a p30 pro would be better I think.

To all the people who complain about the adds. If you see an add, in the security app for example. Tab the settings button on top right corner and disable "show adds", done. 😉 Can't believe that no reviewer mention that 😄.

F2 Pro is better. Nova 5T is a good choice (I have one as well) but the F2 Pro is more powerful, has a better display and it's newer. Plus, it will have GMS no doubts while Huawei phones that still have GMS are always under the shadow of US garbage behaviours.

Stop complaining about refresh rate. Other companies hive high refresh rate on LCD screens. I prefer mailed even if it's 60Hz. No other company gives high refresh rate amoled in this price. Oneplus costs hundreds dollars more

Oneplus 7T is better I think, it has more feature than Poco F2 pro. Poco only better in performance because of the SD865. Also Oneplus has better UI.

good points and very straightforward. well with the price i think ill accept the compromises, 60Hz super Amoled is not bad rather than LCD with higher refresh rate. The camera is decent and i think it needs improvement in the upcoming updates MIUI 12. I hate the Ads and pre installed games i will remove them 😅. I would love to have the wireless charging to be added as a feature too.

@@cameroar2696 if you create a folder with different apps, there're recommended apps at the bottom, so yes ahah, also when you click on check for virus or the "normal" cleanup of ram, it shows when it's done. Other than that I don't find them anywhere else. I don't find it that much annoying thought it would be worse
