Omg! I’ve had the polo sweater pattern and the exact same yarn as you for a year. I never started because I was too intimidated after reading through the pattern and being a new garment knitter. Watching you talk about it in depth has really motivated me to finally give it a go! Yours turned out beautiful! Love the content.

Yay that is so exciting!! I hope it turns out well - keep me in the loop!

I am so tempted to cast on that Polo Sweater. Thank you for the tip about knitting only half of the v-neck collar. That is a great idea and when i get around to knitting the Polo Sweater (after Christmas knitting), i will make that modification as well. Love your channel. 😊

Glad you found that helpful! One of the reasons I love knitting is all the customization you can do to make sure you love the finished product. It is such a fun process!

I love how thorough you are when talking about each of your projects! I'm thinking about committing to a sweater... hearing your experience with the polo sweater is helping push me further sweater-wards, lol. I love the look of the faux seams! Thank you for sharing your knits and personality on the Internet!

That spicy color of your Oslo is fabulous, I might need one! Congrats on you beautiful socks, that pattern and a you tube video will be my first attempt too. I decided earlier today lol. Also, FYI wool socks are naturally self cleaning (pure is, not sure about super wash) so they don't need washing every single time they are worn. Wow cool, thank you for explaining faux seams, that's really cool

I came to your channel from your gift knits video and watched both of your podcast episodes. I"m so glad YT in its infinite wisdom sent me your way. That polo sweater is gorgeous, and now I'm eyeballing my stash to see what I have that might work for it.

I was so interested to hear your experience with the polo sweater and the LB SW merino! I love the pattern and I have one skein of the yarn that I'm planning to make a top with. Your thoughts are very helpful :) I am definitely putting it on my knit list. It's so cool that it's a free pattern and it seems like the designer has been really thoughtful with the details.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed my thoughts! It is a really nice pattern and I think the designer was very generous to make it free! Hope you get to knit it soon!

There is a fiber festival in Springfield next month. Thank goodness the ride out there is miserable and the Big E is less than appealing😂. Great to watch a podcast from my corner of the world💗

I loved your episode very much! I will have to watch the first one also 😊. Your knits are stunning and you seem to be quite knowledgeable about knitting, you share lots of great tips and information! I just have to say one thing: you have not tryed the right suri base, because it can be softer tgan mohair, it is the softest thing. If you want to try using it again, look for a baby sury and silk yarn. I swear, aside from pure cashmere or qiviut, it is the softest thing ever ❤
@neknits2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I definitely will be looking for suri silk next time instead of the nylon blend!
