I'm not from the US, but still from a "western" country. I'm one of these who have opted out of the work force. My reason for doing so is, that I've been mocked and rejected by women for over 15 years. Not that I'm mad about it, it's their right...however...considering that I will never be able to have a family or children...why should I work? Why should I defend this society in the case of war or danger to it? On the contrary, any danger or war is welcome, what's there to lose for me? My hobbies are sports, videogames, local trips via bicycle. Nothing of this is expensive. I also have no interest to provide to society, since I can't identify with it and don't consider myself a part of it. No, I'm not a 200 pound neckbeard. There's just nothing in for me and I don't care about luxury or status at all. History repeats itself. At the end of the western roman empire, it was forbidden by law to cut off your own right thumb on purpose. Many men did so. Why fight for a society that only wants to drain you? In addition: No procreation to break the cycle, birthrate gone down.

Almost every word expresses how I feel. I’ve been struggling with giving a fuck and finally just let it go. If I’m working fully it’ll be away from this main society or it’ll have to be something wild and different. This society is legit not worth it. Especially since the moral compass of many people are broken.

Know what you mean, this WAP culture has destroyed the old American values and women will not settle for anything less than a top 20% guy and if they do settle they end up resenting him and divorcing him, so what's the point of trying with women who have had their brains diluted by social media? And this message that only women and minorities can be victims and the straight white man could never be a victim of anything means society doesn't give a fook about them, and I think this is causing men to stop trying with society, and to let society take its course of self destruction without them.

I have come to the same conclusion, Society does not care about me at all, only what I can pay them taxes. Year after year, the left government imposes new taxes which makes my life harder and the money I get from work in hand decreases. I try to live minimally and live with savings and social support.

As a single guy with no kids, there really isn't that good of a reason to work full-time. I also have inexpensive hobbies, such as reading, learning languages, biking, weightlifting, etc. I work for some of the year, and if I get fed up with a job, I simply leave.

Society is tearing apart at the seams currently. Men are leaving the Workforce in droves. There's no reason for a Man to contribute to Society if Families are not forming. Naturally a Man lives minimalisticly when outside of the influence of a Spouse. Historically, a Man providing for his Family was the primary reason he went to work these laborious jobs that held up Society's infrastructure(Construction, Sanitation, mainly Blue Collar). Soon we won't even have a Military to guard us from the Barbarians at the Gate and when Men drop out of Society it is the because Atlas has shrugged. We're witnessing the Collapse of another Great Civilization in Real Time. And once again Feminism will be the cause for quartering and beheading the Family Unit.

Hey, let the feminists pay the taxes. I've opted out of marriage, kids, and being society's plow horse. I pity men who've been divorce raped and have found out the hard way that their life of toil has been all for naught.

2013, Houston, TX: For example: In a prestigious magnet hospital, they want to pay you $11.50 an hour to help nurses as a nurse assistant in an emergency center. Oh yeah, you can work night shift & earn .53 cents more an hour. Not surprising, the nurse assistants were transient, we had to wear oversized name tags so Nurses could identify us, as the assistants applied for other, better paying positions in the hospital. Lots of jobs are like this.

You are right. Low wage jobs are all over the country, unfortunately

Its really not rocket science. I'm not really sure why a whole video had to be made just on this topic. Men are fed up (myself included) of the low wage jobs, terrible work environments and terrible treatment from management. We are reminded as men by society everyday that we are disposable and not needed so its really no mystery why so many men refuse to participate. Two years ago I was making great money until I got laid off. Now despite having tons of experience in my field all I have yet to receive are bottom of the barrel wage slave offers. Sorry not sorry not going to work to be paid pennies on the dollar. Companies either need to pay better or continue to suffer high turnover thus leading to a lot of lost wages. They know exactly what they need to do but unfortunately with pretty much all of these companies greed overrides their logic. So now I'm doing doordash while on unemployment and currently studying hard to get my life insurance license.

I had a similar sentiment... its not a Scooby-Doo mystery... i dont think it can be ignored, the big contributing factors of whats going on today. Rollo tomassi claimed the birth control pill will have a bigger affect on human existence than the nuclear bomb. Even though the pill has been available since the 60s, we are just beginning to see the effects it will have on us. Then the evolution of the feminist movement is another factor. More women going to college, statistically, won't want to date or marry a guy who is not "more educated" than her (perhaps it's status perhaps its level of income) plus the un bankruptable debt of college... if a womanl has lots of debt in a worthless BS degree, that's not going to be attractive men who may want to marry. I agree with you... its not rocket science. ...eveyone is playing the cards they have given and playing. them given the incentives presented to them.

1975-1985: Steel industry outsourced to India, China. It is cheaper to refine US Oil overseas than to build new refinaries. The refinary of crude has been placed on massive tankers & outsourced overseas. Manufacturing has been outsourced to near extinction. What is bubba,, with an average IQ, gonna replace that income with? On a side note, I consider US military a jobs program.

Why can't the US Military meet recruiting goals? Why can't police departments and prisons find enough applicants!? It's a Scooby-Doo mystery.
