I mix pumpkin puree with my probiotic yogurt. I add some stevia and cinnamon. It is really good. I top with some nuts.

As cinnamon is anti bacterian, may be it will kill some L.Reuteri ?

Pumpkin is so good. I have been making milk kefir cheese lately. This time I mixed in pumpkin puree along with some cinnamon and nutmeg. It was so delicious!

My old cat had diarrhea for several months and nothing really worked consistently until someone in my vet's office suggested pumpkin. My cat is now diarrhea-free. Unfortunately he has to be on this pumpkin diet forever as his gut is so messed up and he can no longer tolerate regular cat food.

Don't get me wrong, I love everything pumpkin, but the form of Vit A in pumpkin is called Beta carotene and your body has to break that down to turn it into Vitamin A. It is easier to get your vitamin A from animal products which is real vitamin A.

Thank you Donna for such an amazing channel and all the delicious recipes you offer. I have been making my own L reuteri yogurt and would like to know how long did it take you to see results in your skin? Muscle strength? and overall mood? I plan on making this a regular thing, and also am curious to see how fast you got results. Thank you!

I am so interested to watch this video I have very recently started my journey with L Reuteri fermented dairy And while I am actually experiencing some good feedback in my body The taste is so nasty to me I am literally holding my nose while I am quickly scooping it into my mouth and getting it down So I am hoping that this video will help me overcome that with some flavor that I can bear ❤

Have you tried adding fruit/flavoring/ and sweetener?
@EternaLivesMatter
@EternaLivesMatter Ай бұрын
@debbisprang5458 I have not. I guess I don't know enough to know what is good to add and what is not good to add I honestly don't want to add sugars I want to stick to natural and organic ingredients as best as I can I wasn't sure if I can make L reuteri into a smoothie or if adding or blending would destroy the integrity of it If you have any suggestions I appreciate it

@@EternaLivesMatter you could add things like banana, grapes, or apple to sweeten it. You could also spice it up with cinnamon ginger, cardamom, or a spice pie blend.

36 hours at 100F. I am on my 4th batch and following the recipe in Dr. Davis book Super Gut

@run4cmt ok so 36 hours from the time it reaches 100 degrees? Or 32 hours with the 4 hours it takes to heat up?

@@heathmann4574 If the water is at 100° when you place it in your yogurt maker you won’t have to wait four hours for your device to heat the water. The idea is to simulate the temperature for the bacteria as if they were living in our bodies. 36 hours is the time it takes to multiply the bacteria into therapeutic dosage. Someone commented that she got a better texture by adding inulin ( to feed cultures) when scalding milk/cream. Make sure to cool that mixture before adding the rueteri because they will die if it is over 106 degrees.

@@heathmann4574 I bought a new yogurt maker just to make the reuteri culture ( combined with b coagulants and lactobacillus gasseri). If you decide to incorporate the other two strains, choose the ones with an identifying letter and number. Dr Davis said in his book that these are better than the ones with only a name. It’s a little trickier when combining all three when choosing a temperature, because each requires a slightly different heat. Most people are slightly disappointed by the first batch. The whey separates from the curd, but the culture is still good even though it isn’t picture perfect. I made the mistake of eating more than the recommended 1/2cup for my first taste. I didn’t get sick, but let’s just say things moved though my digestive tract very quickly…..so go slow when you start.
